The Obama administration has asked the military’s Joint Chiefs of Staff to cut the Pentagon’s budget request for the fiscal year 2010 by more than 10 percent — about $55 billion — a senior U.S. defense official tells FOX News.
So, let me get this straight
The Obama “stimulus” will a take trillion dollars and redirect it to groups like ACORN and the National Endowment for the Arts, while at the same time redirecting money away from our military. Why not give a trillion dollars to the military and let that money be used to stimulate defense contractors and the military families themselves. That money would be spread many times over throughout our economy.
For now it is Pork over Power!
Certainly, Obamabi has targeted Star Wars and other missile defense programs during his campaign, but, Director Blue has a breakdown of comparing the $55 billion cut to protecting the United States, which, if memory serves, is actually in the Constitution and the Presidential Oath of Office, to the what is in the Porkulus Package Obama is pushing.
Here’s just a smidgeon of what Obama wants to stimulate,
From Director Blue:
• $83 billion in welfare payments
• $81 billion for Medicaid
• $66 billion on “education”, more than the entire Department of Education required just ten years ago
• $36 billion for expanded unemployment benefits
• $20 billion for food stamps
• $8 billion on “renewable energy” projects, which have a low or negative return
• $7 billion for “modernizing federal buildings and facilities”
• $6 billion on urban transit systems, dominated by unions and which, almost universally, lose money
• $2.4 billion for “carbon-capture demonstration projects”
• $2 billion for child-care subsidies
• $1 billion for Amtrak, the federal railroad that’s run in the red for 40 years
• $650 million for “digital TV conversion coupons” (on top of billions already spent)
• $600 million on new cars for government (added to the $3 billion already spent each year)
• $400 million for “global-warming research”
• $50 million for the National Endowment for the Arts

I knew The typical “You call yourself a Christian” Hate line was bound to show up.
One liners, name calling, and Christian bashing have been the left’s main form of debate for years now. Real discussion about facts instead of Michael Moore Hate rhetoric are not the Left’s strong suit.
If you would like to go back and read my posts over the past year, you will get in depth answers to your attacks.
Like I said I don’t expect you to change your attitude about these issues. I just want to know what you think about President Obama’s War and his killing of innocents.

I answered the question. We do not need to increase military spending because we are not going to murder innocent people under the new president. And If you call that hate, then you don’t really understand what the military is used for and how they were misused during the Bush years. Between 2006 and 2008 military spending went from 600 billion to 700 billion. We spend more on our military than any other country in the world and 8 times more than China. So stop singing the blues.

Here’s another question you won’t answer. Since you leftists loathe the military and think if we just sit down and hold hands with the Islamofasicts and Communist tyrants of the world, the world will be at peace, then why don’t we just unilaterally disarm in the interest of world peace?
Think of it, if we just did away with the military, we could no longer “abuse our power” as you so naively put it. All that savings could be plowed right back into building a Socialist Health Care system, taking care of the world’s rejects and everything leftists love so dearly.

I understand that you believe that President Obama will not kill innocent people in the future, but that does not answer how you can justify President Obama being part of killing 18 innocent people in Afghanistan already.
If, as you say the war is wrong and we are wrong for being there, then how can you justify President Obama’s continued use of force for an unjust cause? Why not remove our troops today? What is our new “Change” President waiting for. Get the troops out NOW! Obama you murderer!. Bring our children home! No more war, no more war! Give peace a chance!

But what I think is informative is that he is representative of the average American Obama voter. They do not want to deal with the facts of this world.
This is a world governed by the use of force. To gain and keep power force needs to be used. If the good guys, America, give up, the bad guys win.
If the majority of Americans want to continuously retreat then that just may be our destiny. It will be unfortunate to leave America defeated to our grandchildren.
I pray that the strong will stand up and be true to our culture and our American heritage. We need to continue to press on to give the world the hope that we have supplied for over 200 years.
