Maybe Tommy had his fingers crossed when he skipped his taxes!
Just when you thought it was safe to go to the doctor….You’d better ask Tom Daschle first.
Soon Tom Daschle will be dictating our health care choices, or lack thereof.
Ops Tommy has a few little tax issues. But so what we have a new Secratary of State whose husband has received tens of millions from the royal families in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Dubai, Oman, Brunei and Abu Dhabi.
And who was Tony Rezko anyway?
Of course it doesn’t really matter because Ms. Clinton has her own problems that are no big deal:
Hillary’s pay-for-play troubles, continued
Scroll for updates…nomination hearing liveblogging…12noon…not one tough GOP question about her ethics problems…Fla. Dem. Sen. Bill Nelson says her ties to Bill Clinton’s global foundation (and, by extension, his donors) only enhances her “credibility”…Lugar’s duh of the day: Bill shouldn’t accept any more money from foreign governments…Hillary
What will the Bend Over Republicans do with tax cheat Tom Daschle?
Before we get to tax cheat Tom Daschle, let’s recall the names of the Bend Over Republicans who pooh-poohed Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner’s tax troubles and accused critics of “thinking in small political terms.”
On the Senate Finance Committee, B.O. Republicans Mike Crapo, Orrin Hatch, John Cornyn, Olympia Snowe and John Ensign all determined that Geithner’s “tax goofs” worth $43,000 did not disqualify him from the job of overseeing everyone else’s taxes. (More from Malkin)

And what is wrong with a little political payback anyway?

If Tom Daschle can justify his mistake then maybe
he can get some of that thar Bail Out Money!
Tax issues emerge in Daschle nomination
By KEVIN FREKING, Associated Press Writer
WASHINGTON – Former Sen. Tom Daschle, picked by President Barack Obama to lead his health reform efforts, recently filed amended tax returns to report $128,203 in back taxes and $11,964 in interest, according to a Senate document obtained by The Associated Press.
The White House acknowledged Friday that “some tax issues” had emerged in connection with the nomination, but a spokesman said the president is confident the former Senate Democratic leader will be confirmed as the new health secretary.

Good Post, there will be alot more about Tom Daschle that you can add. Its hard to keep up with all the Obama crooks. Why is some of these people still in office, I have seen many kicked out for less reasons!

Hey there goodtimepolitics,
For years the Republicans have been held to the fire and they have removed themselves from public office; Tom DeLay.
Then the Dems move in, take over, and run a crooked ship that everyone turns their eyes from; Tom Daschle, Hillary….etc.
For folks like you and I Obama’s shenanigans are no surprise. For most Americans they are looking the other way because they think Obama is the answer to all of their problems.
Frankly, I am having a difficult time getting riled up over these things. It is all so predictable and acceptable to the average American who is more concerned about the Super Bowl. Someday, hopefully, their eyes will open.
But we must blog on, stand for truth, justice and the American way.
God Bless,

I’m trying to think of someone in Bush’s cabinet as crooked as Tom or Hillary or Holder or even Geithner. Can’t. This is a very weak performance. No R would have gotten within shouting distance of nomination, much less confirmation, with this much baggage. What was the O-team thinking?

If Obama was a conservative Republican, his picks to cabinet positions would be raked over the coals by the press. No way would a Geithner or Douchele survive to see the light of day if they had an (R) in front of them.

Thanks for your additions
RightWinger and luemcgook,
“What was the O-team thinking?”
They don’t care, they know that the American public is oblivious to truth, justice and law and order.
Most Americans are just salivating while waiting for their handouts. They are still full of hate for Bush and hate for conservatives.
Check out a guy named “stophate” who has commented on my post, “Obama, how bout stimulating the Military”.
These are the people who love Obama; he can do no wrong in their eyes.
God Bless,
