We all know the Obama Jeremiah Wright Story:
When a politician joins a church and professes faith in Christ for Political advancement then denies his pastor for political gains we should be cautious in following that politician. President-elect Obama seems to be this sort of politician. He has shown by his previous actions that faith in our Lord is only for convenience. As I have stated in the past, I do not make a claim here to Obama’s salvation or damnation. It is not for me to know of his true heartfelt confession of Jesus as his Lord and Savior, but his actions and words do cause one to wonder about his conversion and rebirth. My point is that when a person frivolously confesses faith in Christ then demonstrates through his actions no personal relationship with Christ immoral and unethical actions will follow. When he says that knowing when life begins is “Above my pay grade” he is shunning the Christian faith and showing his disdain for the sanctity of God’s children. A man who uses God for his purposes will also use shady means to get to his own goals.
Presedent-elect Obama has a trail of shady and unsavory characters and behaviors behind his political career:
Many of use wrote tirelessly about Obama’s history of connections, political bullying, opportunistic, and sometimes questionable political maneuvers to gain power. The Blabojevich story is intriguing because of Obama’s previous actions and his associations with people like Bill Ayers, Tony Resko, Jeremiah Wright, George Soros and others. His quick rise to fame in the Chicago Political scene adds to our doubt about his innocence in the Blabojevich scandal. Once more I say here that I do not make a claim to know Obama’s true inner spiritual commitment to Christ, but I do know that a deep rooted personal relationship with Christ will produce good fruits in a person. A true heartfelt personal relationship with Christ will lead a man away from dishonest unethical decisions in his life. A personal relationship with the living God of the universe will convict a man and weigh on his soul if he continues to associate with scoundrels.
We should be weary of politicians who through around their profession of faith so freely.
In the end it is up to the American electorate to learn from mistakes. It is up to Americans to start to hole politicians to higher moral and ethical standards. We must hold ourselves to higher morel and ethical standards and expect greater character in our elected officials. The MSM and other politicians perpetuate the rise of unethical politicians just because they are on the same team. As Chritians we need to stand for righteousness, honesty, and integraty. We need to start to hold our political leaders to Biblical standards and fight diligently for more ethical politicians.

Michlle Malkin has this tidbit:
Rahm-bo hides behind his kids: Don’t ask me questions. I’m a daddy!
The new Chicago way: Evade questions by playing the parent card.
That’s some fancy footwork, Rahm-bo:
Emanuel was uncharacteristically absent from Obama’s news conference this morning. He was spotted two hours later in the lobby of Chicago’s City Hall. He was there to listen to his two children performing in a concert with their school, Anshe Emet.
A Sun-Times reporter pressed him to comment about whether he was the emissary named in the criminal complaint.
“You’re wasting your time,” Emanuel said. “I’m not going to say a word to you. I’m going to do this with my children. Dont do that. I’m a father. I have two kids. I’m not going to do it.”
Asked, “Can’t you do both?” Emanuel replied, “I’m not as capable as you. I’m going to be a father. I’m allowed to be a father,” and he pushed the reporter’s digital recorder away.
Emanuel’s dance training is coming in handy. (More Malkin)

The MSM continues to support shady political actions:
The Reuters story below is just one more example of how the media has accepted these types of shady dealings as normal and mundane for Democrats while still condemning any Republican politician for lesser misgivings.
Reuters doesn’t like conservative snarking over Blago’s bust

Looks like the Obama water-carriers in the MSM aren’t happy with the fallout over Blagobama-rama. Here’s the headline on an article just released by Reuters this afternoon: (More Malkin Story)

How much larger will the scandal surrounding Rod Blagojevich grow? According to a footnote in the affadavit filed by US Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald, the sky could be the limit. Convicted political fixer Tony Rezko has been singing to investigators, and his connections reach all the way to the White House:
Change.gov hiding questions on Blagojevich scandal

How’s that Hope and ChangeTM working out at Change.gov, the transition website for President-Elect Barack Obama? They seem to have the change part down pat, at least. Ben Smith of Politico notes that the Obamaphiles have tubed comments relating to the scandal surrounding Rod Blagojevich, and that Team Obama seems happy to let them continue:
