Our new fearless leader who is all about helping out the common person has moved his children into the big time. Do you think that the Obamas will support school vouchers to allow all of us to pick the best schools for your children? I think not!
I guess if Sidwell Friends is good enough for Bill and HIllary it is good enough for Barack and Michelle. Trust me I have no problem with rich people picking the best schools for their kids, but please don’t tell me that we common folk have to slog through the quagmire of the public school system.
Please don’t preach collectivism to me while you live an Elitist life. Barack Obama has been selling the country on this populist lie and now he is showing all his true colors. Of course this picture will not be seen by his loving followers; thy will just say that is about time someone from the downtrodden class can place his children with the rich folk. I wonder if Bill Ayers will move his kids there. After all the Ayers’s kids have been going to the same shool as the Obamas’ kids for quite a will. We wouldn’t want them to be apart for too long now would we?
Expect to see much more of this elitist let them eat cake attitude throughout his reign.

SwarnsAfter a school search that inspired weeks of frenzied speculation among parents in the nation’s capital, President-elect Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle, announced on Friday that they had decided to send their two daughters to Sidwell Friends School, the pricey and prestigious academy that has educated generations of this city’s elite.

The Obama family had also considered two other private institutions, Georgetown Day School and Maret School, for their girls, Malia, 10, and Sasha, 7. But the Quaker-run Sidwell, which was established in 1883 and costs as much as $29,442 a year, has long been described by some as the Harvard of this town’s private schools.

It’ll Be Sidwell Friends School
Malia and Sasha Obama are headed for the same Washington-area private Quaker school that Chelsea Clinton attended, aides to the future first family confirmed Friday.
Barack and Michelle Obama picked Sidwell Friends School, which Vice President-elect Joe Biden’s granddaughters also attend.
The school is known for rigorous standards and for educating children from some of the most prominent and wealthy families in Washington. Richard Nixon’s daughters and Al Gore’s son also went there. (full article)
