Now that Obama’s reign has begun we can see how needy the people are for a King to Lead!
“So all the elders of Israel gathered together and came to Samuel at Ramah. They said to him, “You are old, and your sons do not walk in your ways; now appoint a king to lead us, such as all the other nations have” (I Samuel 8:4-5).
“Government is not a solution to our problem, government is the problem.” (Ronald Reagon)
“But when they said, “Give us a king to lead us,” this displeased Samuel; so he prayed to the LORD. And the LORD told him: “Listen to all that the people are saying to you; it is not you they have rejected, but they have rejected me as their king, As they have done from the day I brought them up out of Egypt until this day, forsaking me and serving other gods, so they are doing to you. Now listen to them; but warn them solemnly and let them know what the king who will reign over them will do.” (I Samuel 8:6-9).
The liberal, leftists of America have asked for a King:
The left has been preaching Big Government for years. They have successfully propagated this idealism into the public school curriculum, welfare system, media, and the minds of our youth; now we have generations of discontented Israelites begging for government to satisfy their every need. Now the time has come for their ultimate reward a king, King Obama to take them out of their misery and into the comfort, safety and hope of Obama’s open arms.
We on the right have been warning of the fate of America if we elect King Obama.
God will provide a lesson if the people continue to reject Him and look to government as their god. If the majority of the American people want a king, a man who gives them Hope and promises to fulfill their every desire, need, want, and whim, then America deserves the fate that will follow.
“Now therefore, heed their voice. However, you shall solemnly forewarn them, and show them the behavior of the king who will reign over them” (I Samuel 8:9)
The fate of an Obama Presidency will be:
more abortions; weaker military; increased terrorist activity in America; a confused and less effective medical system; higher unemployment resulting in low wage government work projects and government mandated public service for many; lack of freedom to create and grow wealth by individuals; lowered standard of living except for the rich and government bureaucrats and politicians; less freedom to enjoy our hard earned money; increased drug use; reparations to third world countries; lower available energy; more leftist indoctrination in our public schools; continued destabilization of our families as the central unit of American culture; the increased disintegration of the marriage commitment; more reliance on government to raise our children; less freedom to choose the career of your dreams; less freedom to dream!…etc, etc, etc….
If the people ask for a King, they just may get one, insuring less freedom to choose and more reliance on the Government feeding trough. They will be Praising King Government while at the same time becoming more submissive and dependent on King government of which Obama would be the Chief of ‘holding the’ Staff.
So Samuel told all the words of the LORD to the people who asked him for a king. And he said, “This will be the behavior of the king who will reign over you: He will take your sons and appoint them for his own chariots and to be his horsemen, and some will run before his chariots. He will appoint captains over his thousands and captains over his fifties, will set some to plow his ground and reap his harvest, and some to make his weapons of war and equipment for his chariots. He will take your daughters to be perfumers, cooks, and bakers. And he will take the best of your fields, your vineyards, and your olive groves, and give them to his servants. 15 He will take a tenth of your grain and your vintage, and give it to his officers and servants. And he will take your male servants, your female servants, your finest young men, and your donkeys, and put them to his work. 17 He will take a tenth of your sheep. And you will be his servants. And you will cry out in that day because of your king whom you have chosen for yourselves, and the LORD will not hear you in that day ” (I Samuel 8:10 -18).

Bravo, Gov. Mark Sanford, for this on-target description of how bailout-mania has transformed and damaged this country:
As many state and local officials clamor for their share of the billions of dollars in federal aid in the stimulus bill under consideration in Washington, South Carolina’s Republican governor is sounding a note of dissent about federal efforts to help the economy.
“A problem that was created by building up of too much debt will not be solved with yet more debt,” Gov. Mark Sanford said Sunday, making a reference to the federal deficit spending that will likely finance the federal stimulus package.
“We’re moving precipitously close to what I would call a savior-based economy,” Sanford also said Sunday on CNN’s State of the Union.
The South Carolina Republican said such an economy is “what you see in Russia or Venezuela or Zimbabwe or places like that where it matters not how good your product is to the consumer but what your political connection is to those in power.”
“That is quite different than a market-based economy where some rise and some fall but there’s a consequence to making a stupid decision,” Sanford said after pointing to the powers granted to the Treasury Department and the Federal Reserve to help deal with the current economic crisis.
“A lot of people who’ve made some very stupid decisions are being bailed out by the population at large,” he added.
I don’t know if Gov. Sanford intended his “savior-based” quip to be a play on the cult of the Obamessiah, but either way, it’s a brilliant diagnosis.

John Conyers has already called for a federal investigation. The WaPo is already up with an A-section story on the anonymous leak. And the liberal blogs are up in arms.

Yes, just like the Communists,
Ayers and his gang were willing to kill those who got in the way of the plan.
Back in the early 70s Ayers himself said that if they took over they may have to remove resistant intellectuals for the good of the whole. I’ll see if I can find that quote and get back to you.
