Muslims agree when it comes to abortion:
As regards your question, following is what the eminent Muslim scholar, Sheikh Yusuf Al-Qaradawi, states in his well-known book, The Lawful and the Prohibited in Islam:
“While Islam permits preventing pregnancy for valid reasons, it does not allow doing violence to it once it occurs.
Muslim jurists have agreed unanimously that after the fetus is completely formed and has been given a soul, abortion is haram. It is also a crime, the commission of which is prohibited to the Muslim because it constitutes an offense against a complete, living human being. Jurists insist that the payment of blood money (diya) becomes incumbent if the baby is aborted alive and then died, while a fine of lesser amount is to be paid if it is aborted dead.
The Church of Ladder Day Saints, the Mormons, agree abortion is hated by God,
Not my words but the words of the LDS Church,
Elder Dallin H. Oaks of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of the LDS Church stated in 1999:
“The Church opposes elective abortion for personal or social convenience. Our members are taught that, subject only to some very rare exceptions, they must not submit to, perform, encourage, pay for, or arrange for an abortion. That direction tells us what we need to do on the weightier matters of the law, the choices that will move us toward eternal life.”
Statement on Abortion:
In 1973, the U.S. Supreme Court issued their well known ruling in the Roe v. Wade case. The court legalized early abortions for any reason, and allowed later abortions if necessary to preserve the health or life of the woman.
In response to this liberalization of abortion access, Harold B. Lee, N. Eldon Tanner, & Marion G. Romney of the Church of Jesus Christ and Latter-day Saints’ First Presidency issued a statement on abortion in 1973. 3 It restated the historical LDS Church’s position on abortion.
“The Church opposes abortion and counsels its members not to submit to or perform an abortion except in the rare cases where, in the opinion of competent medical counsel, the life or good health of the mother is seriously endangered or where the pregnancy was caused by rape and produces serious emotional trauma in the mother. Even then it should be done only after counseling with the local presiding priesthood authority and after receiving divine confirmation through prayer.”
“Abortion must be considered one of the most revolting and sinful practices in this day, when we are witnessing the frightening evidence of permissiveness leading to sexual immorality.”
“Members of the Church guilty of being parties to the sin of abortion must be subjected to the disciplinary action of the councils of the Church as circumstances warrant. In dealing with this serious matter, it would be well to keep in mind the word of the Lord stated in the 59th section of the Doctrine and Covenants, verse 6, ‘Thou shalt not steal; neither commit adultery, nor kill, nor do anything like unto it‘.” (more on LDS and abortion)
Voters Agree they don’t want Abortion Candidate Obama:
From Southern Appeal:
“Democrats Carrying Anti-Abortion Banner Put More Congressional Races in Play”
Excellent. Contrary to what some might think, I would love nothing more than for both major political parties to fight for the votes of prolifers.
Cardinals agree Catholics Cannot vote for Obama:
It is easy for most any person to say “I love God”; but simply mouthing the words, “I love God” does not mean it is so. Beware of those who elevate the esteem of man over the esteem of God. We are called to reveal the inner mystery of our love for the invisible God with unconditional love for every living human person. Our world is screaming out for Christians to live an authentic Christian life. Love as Jesus our Lord and give your life for your brother. (Catholics Against Obama)

Does Obama’s Christianity agree with God’s?
There are six things the LORD hates,
seven that are detestable to him:
haughty eyes,
a lying tongue,
hands that shed innocent blood,
a heart that devises wicked schemes,
feet that are quick to rush into evil,
a false witness who pours out lies
and a man who stirs up dissension among brothers.

Even Cardinal Rigali calls abortion an intrinsic evil.
Hmm….maybe he is racist too?
Posted by: Hugh Hewitt at 6:00 PM Cardinal Justin Rigali publishes a new article on abortion and the election. Though he is the leader of the Philly archdiocese, expect many of PA’s 3 million Catholics to read or hear of this clear exposition of Roman Catholic Church teaching. Key excerpt:
The challenge of our own times
Our own common sense tells us that not every issue is of the same importance. At various times in history, a people or nation is confronted with an issue that transcends others in importance and that demands a courageous response.
The transcending issue of our day is the intentional destruction of innocent human life, as in abortion. We wish with all our hearts that no candidate and no party were advocating this heinous act against the human person. However, since it is a transcending issue, and even supported in its most extreme and horrific forms, we must proclaim time and time again that no intrinsic evil can ever be supported in any way, most especially when it concerns the gravest of all intrinsic evils: the taking of an innocent life. Obama Stands on his Christianity as he strives to become the most powerful man in the world!
Now to be fair we could find many of these characteristics in other politicians and as Christians we know that there is “none righteous not even one” (Romans 3:10), but Obama is the one currently running for President of the United States. He is also the one that has declared his Christianity and has the most difficulty standing up against these 7 Things that God Hates. To be sure none of us can hold up to this example in the Bible, but as Christians we should hold our leaders to the highest possible standards. We have a responsibility to make the best choice according to God’s word.
Americans are about to elect the next President of the United States of America. Christians must stand on God’s word when we make our decision.
As Christians we must know that God is omnipresent, he knows what is going on in our minds, he knows who we vote for, our conscience is crying out for riotousness and following God’s plan. As we vote for the most powerful man in the world, we must take into account our Christian walk and God’s love for us. God gave his only Son for the cleansing of our sins and for our salvation. We should be willingly ready and eagerly seeking his ways. He will not be mocked,
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh shall from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit shall from the Spirit reap eternal life. And let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we shall reap if we do not grow weary. So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all men, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith. (Galations 6:7-10)
Reverand Jeremiah Wright sure knows how to share the wealth,

Fox News producer Jesse Watters takes you on a tour of Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s new mansion — including Greek columns, endless garages, golf course, and more…

God Hates Haughty Eyes,

The essential vice, the utmost evil, is pride. Unchastity, anger, greed, drunkenness, and all that, are mere fleabites in comparison. It was through pride that the devil became the devil. Pride leads to every other vice; it is the complete anti-God state of mind (CS Lewis)
If anyone does not see the Pride in Obama at this late date then that person needs to look into his/her own heart for the meaning of pride.
A lying Tongue:
Obama has made a short career in politics by denning, avoiding, and stuttering his way through foundational questions. remember his “Above my pay grade, I don’t really know Ayers, he is just my neighbor comments. His election supporters are all stuck on lying.
“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.” Joseph Goebbels, Nazi Germany Propagandist in Chief
Hands that shed innocent blood:
This is perhaps the strongest case against Obama. He says that he is a Christian yet he has supported abortions throughout his career. He has even supported late term and left on the counter abortions. Is there any more innocent blood shed than the blood of the unborn or newly born? Obama’s party the Democrat party is the party of abortion. If for no other reason this is a reason to not vote for Obama.
From BornAliveTruth.com:
A heart that devises wicked schemes:
Obama has schemes we haven’t even heard of yet. ACORN, Ayers, Soros, Axlerod are all scheming entities. Others believe that Obama has a scheme to reduce Americas military power allowing us to loose the war against Islamo-Fascism. Make no mistake Obama schemes to break the legs of his opponents, he did it in Illinois, he tried with Sarah Palin and now his thugs are all over Joe the Plumber.
Just had to add this one:
scheming, scheming, gently down the stream.
I’m late, I’m late, I’m late!

Seems like Barack Obama and the White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland have something in common:
Here is another Obama wicked scheme:
Ohio official OK’d records search on Joe the Plumber
posted at 11:00 am on October 28, 2008 by Ed Morrissey
The Columbus Dispatch reports that at least one culprit has emerged from the misuse of public information to attack Joe Wurzelbacher — and to no one’s surprise, she’s a Democrat and a big Barack Obama supporter. Helen Jones-Kelly decided to check on Wurzelbacher as soon as he became an issue in the third presidential debate. But this maxed-out donor to Obama swears that she had no political reasons for her sudden curiosity about Wurzelbacher:
Feet that are quick to rush to evil:
Evil may take some time to define for many Americans, but for believing Christians Evil is more easily recognizable. Obama seems to want to accept countries like Iran, Venezuela, and Cuba. He also shows much tolerance for accepting Islamo-Fascists as understandable. Obama is the candidate who heads towards evil faster than others.
A false witness who pours out lies:
This one is too easy. I’ll you all use your own thoughts and list them on my comments,
All in the corrupt union family
The LA Times follows the crony money trail at the Obama-promoting SEIU — where every top official’s family member Hopes for a cut of the Change.
A man who stirs up dissension among brothers.
Now we have another biggie with Obama. If any man this year, this decade has stirred up dissension among the brothers it is Barak Obama. His twenty years of sitting under the tutelage of Reverend Jeremiah Wright, his stance on abortions, class envy taxes, same sex marriage, and acceptance of forces that hate Christianity have all been severely divisive issues in the Christian community. Obama has done nothing to bring Christians together by standing on the word of God.
Christians need to search their souls and let go of pride then vote for McCain.
The only choice for believing Christians is McCain. You have to put your personal need to vote for Obama to clear your conscience, or because you hate Bush, or because you disagree with the War in Iraq, or because somehow you think he is the Answer to our financial problems. McCain can win and will win if God fearing Christians swallow their personal pride and vote for McCain.

Is Cardinal Rigali Racist?
We bishops of Pennsylvania quoted from the late Pope John Paul II’s Post Synodal Exhortation on the Vocation and Mission of the Lay Faithful and I quote him again here: “The inviolability of the person which is a reflection of the absolute inviolability of God, finds its primary and fundamental expression in the inviolability of human life. Above all, the common outcry, which is justly made on behalf of human rights — for example, the right to health, to home, to work, to family, to culture — is false and illusory if the right to life, the most basic and fundamental right and the condition for all other personal rights, is not defended with maximum determination” (Christifideles Laici, 38).
At this moment in our country’s history, defense of innocent human life is a moral responsibility for all of us. The same God who thundered from Mount Sinai: “Thou shalt not kill,” thunders still. When life in the womb is destroyed, God thunders: “This is a child!” When by the most barbaric means, unworthy of any civilized people, the brain of a child is sucked out of his or her head by a vacuum, God thunders: “This is a child!” When a baby is left to die of exposure on a shelf because of a failed abortion, and this is considered a “right” by any leader, God, the Source of all law and authority, thunders: “This is a child!” When we are faced with every modern means of education and communication, in addition to the law placed in our hearts at creation, no one, and most especially, no Catholic, can ever say: “I did not know.”
The human dignity that we proclaim works two ways: it affords us a great privilege but it also demands a responsibility. The feeble defense “I did not know” cannot be used by any responsible person in our time when confronted with the reality of abortion. We do know. We know because we can reason and think and see. Along with this position, which is confirmed by modern science, comes a command: “Thou shalt not kill.” It is not a question of politics but a question of the gravest of intrinsic evils; and just as the reality of what it is cannot be explained away, neither can our responsibility.
Throughout our history, Catholics have earned their right to call themselves patriotic Americans. Faithful citizenship not only includes dying for one’s country or working towards its prosperity, it also includes being faithful to a law which is higher than the expediency of the moment with the same generosity of body and heart, and the same courage that is given on the battlefield and in the workplace. We remind ourselves of this as we continue to be called to faithful citizenship and respect for life in the “earthly city” without forgetting that we are ultimately called to live as citizens of heaven forever.

you people make me sick with your christian slurs. You have no idea what being a christian is all about do you.? you think that self-righteousness is favored by God? All of you are self-righteous, foolishly proud human beings that only know how to feel better about yourselves by belittling someone else’s view without even knowing what their motives for their views are. Just because someone does not support pro-life does not mean that they lie in bed at night a say “boy, I can’t wait to see how many babies are dead tomorrow”. It is pathetic that you people are this self-righteous, it really is. Smearing someone else is what makes you feel better about yourself and that my friends…is a sin. Obama does not support pro-life because you christian extremists want to pass laws that do not consider anyone’s situation at all, which does not protect anyone’s life. You just want to enforce all of you inconsiderate, self-righteous views across the nation like a cultist would do. You people use your faith as a weapon rather than a blessing because it makes you feel better about yourself. God hates Obama? Is that not a judgement? Read what it says about abortion sometime in the bible rather than just listen to what you were told, you might learn a thing or 2 about what it says. It refers to “fairness and compassion” when it comes to opposing these views and none of you extremists care about that. Maybe if you spend a little more time worried about your own sins rather than other people’s you might actually learn something about yourself and your faith. Until then, good luck to you and your arrogant beliefs. I’ll pray for you because you know not what you do.

Hi peak9,
So you like the Bush administration and want 4 more years of the same crap?
You like that the Republicans gutted the Constitution and the Feds can now search *everything* you own or listen in on ANY form of communication you choose to use…without a warrant?
You like it that the Republicans took away your right to see a judge (Habeas Corpus) and have a speedy trial IF you are arrested? You know that this has already been used on born-American-white-people for non-terrorist related matters don’t you?
You like it that we are now the only civilized nation that tortures? On the books anyway.
You like it that under a Republican president we have ran up the largest governmental deficit, of any government in the whole world, for all of recorded time? And you like it that Bush has been borrowing from the Chinese and Arabs to finance our government deficit?
Do you not care that the Bush family and the Saudi-Arabian royal family are in business together and seemingly ‘in bed together’ as far as helping the oil companies really…really clean up at the worlds expense?
Do you really like it that under the Republican leadership Bush and Cheney are responsible for no-bid contract to civilian buddies with either poor oversight or non-existent oversight? And that the government and military under Bush/Cheney leadership has ‘lost’ many Billions of taxpayer dollars while fighting this war in Iraq.
The Pentagon has ‘lost’ 1 Trillion taxpayer dollars…just disappeared.
Do you care that Bush’s war was an illegal intrusion into a sovereign nation and they lied about the reasons to go there…ol’ G.W. was cleaning up for his daddy.
How do you feel about the socialist move to take over an out of control banking and finance system with money we don’t actually have…you know its welfare for the Rich and something those dang Democrats usually do…don’t you?
I voted for Bush twice, I voted for Reagan twice, I voted for Nixon once, and I voted for Barry Goldwater way back in the 60’s, when I was in the military, so I am not some tree hugging, wine chugging, yuppie liberal scumbag. I really care about this country and I really think that the Republican Party as it stands today needs to be done away with…they have committed treason by violating the constitution many times, they are presently controlled by the religious right wing of this country, and they are flat-out stealing our way of life. McCain would just step into a sweet setup that would just continue on its merry way and keep screwing the American people.
I vote for what I feel is best for my country…whether it be a Republican, or (Gasp!!) a Democrat, and right now it seems to be a Democrat, maybe next round it will be a Republican or Independent…but I vote country first. And I vote on reason.
And I don’t go around distributing evil and incoherent diatribes that really seem to be racist inspired.
You all have a nice day

JoetheChristian and worldofme,
Why are you guys so angry?
Thank you for making my point, Obama and his followers do “Stir up dissension”.
Well I guess I opened a can of worms this time.
I am not going to go with you guys point by point,
“To argue with a fool is folly”
“Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him?” (Proverbs 16:4).
Now before you go off thinking that I am calling you a fool in worldly terms; I am not. In worldly ways you may just be a genius, but in God’s ways a fool is born every day. It is no surprise that non-believers will not understand the verses and the context of which I write.
I am not saying that Obama is evil. I am saying that because of his policies, beliefs, stances, and the people he aligns himself with a Christian should not be voting for this man.
We are to stand on the principles of the Bible in our daily walk which includes going through the grocery line and finding a $20 bill and returning it to making a Godly choice at the election booth.
Obama is further from living and increasing God’s word than McCain. Obama and McCain are on oppisite sides of the Abortion issue, fighting Islamo-fascists, and taxing our country into poverty , which equals class envy. Envy is like Haughty eyes.
Obama wants to join hands with evil people such as Ahmadinejad and Chavez. That does not mean I think Obama is necessarily evil, he will just help evil spread by his ineptness and pride and disdain for the military. As Christians we must resist evil where ever and when ever it raise its ugly head.
But hey can we talk civilly? I encourage debating and discourse if we can keep it civil. I don’t usually allow profanity. I just wanted others to have a taste of the nasty comments I get.
And that racist comment is just getting a little old and has always been a childish way to debate issues. Speaking of divisive, I have never been called a racist until Obama came on the scene; now it is a daily occurrence. You might want to tell that to my Ethiopian friends and my African America friends and my Asian relatives.

I voted for a African-American sheriff, not because of his skin color, but because I thought he would be a good sheriff. It is annoying to suggest that a voter not supporting Obama, is a racist. I would have support a Caucasian for the same reason.
Would it be fair to say everyone not supporting Sarah Palin for McCain’s running mate, is a male
chauvinist pig? It would be stupid, just as it is
stupid to suggest everyone not supporting Obama, is racist, even though some of them are.
Most of people supporting Obama, are supporting him because he is a Democrat, not because of his skin color. Also some businesses will support a liberal candidate, that raises taxes, because they can raise their prices, and lay people off, and keep going.
A lot of people are paying taxes for millionaire Sam Donaldson’s sheep ranch that the government is subsidizing. A million dollars a year is what I understand the government is giving him. Of course he supports Obama.

I never said that God hates Obama. That is above my pay grade.
I listed 7 things that God hates. I also stated that Obama is not the only one to practice some of these 7 things. We know that there is “none righteous not one”
But as a Christian I must vote in a way that resists these 7 things. Obama increases these 7 things in America and the world. Obama will increase what God hates more than McCain will.
That is my point!

thewordofme,
Say what you will about George Bush, but he has stood by his conviction and put this country’s liberty and freedom first.
The points you make are tired and stale. The government has had the capability to “listen in” on every one of us for decades. That is includes Republican and Democratic administrations. Really, is Bush the first?
America does not torture. Waterboarding is not torture if that is what you are talking about. Are you aware of what Uday and Qusay Hussein were doing to Iraqis? Abu Ghraib is a Hilton compared to what Hussein and his sons were doing. Interrogation and intimidation is a part of war. Do you really think that American soldiers didn’t use a little Abu Ghraib on the Nazis over in France? Open your eyes to reality.
Cheney’s Haliburton is suspect, but EVERY private company doing business with the government marks up its products and services a minimum of 300%. The lowest bidder, heck, not even the middle bidder, wins. Republicans and Democrats are responsible for this. Congress is not a one party entity.
I do know enough about the Bush/Saudi connection, but it makes sense to me. The Bush family was in West Texas crude, the Saudis are in Middle East Oil. They have a built-in business connection.
You have got to start thinking for yourself. The Iraq war was “illegal?” Bush lied? Come on. Tell me, how many U.N. resolutions did Saddam spit on? Do you even know? I will tell you. Sixteen. These were not Bush/Cheney resolutions. Ten of these happened under Clinton’s administration. So much for stern talk and U.N. inspectors. Clinton’s administration was a total failure on Iraq. Bush had the walnuts to take action when no one in the world did. If the Iraq war was illegal, the U.N. should be prosecuted.
I have never supported the bank bailout. I think it was a mistake. Our economic crisis comes down to people signing mortgages who could not afford them, fulfilling the Democratic ideal that low-income Americans have the right to “own” $250,000 houses. The banks played a part in this.
That is great the you voted for Bush twice and Ronald Reagan. If you want to talk about treason and Constitutional violations, take a look at Obama. The guy is possibly an illegal immigrant, but no one will touch the evidence against him. A foreigner in the White House? That is a clear violation of the Constitution.
You sound like a proud American, but you are obviously getting your information from ABC, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, and any newspaper printed in America outside of The Wallstreet Journal and Investor’s Business Daily. You need to expand your sources of information, because the media is 99% anti-American propaganda.

Pro-abortion people consistently vote for the “pro-choice” candidate don’t they? Why is it hateful for Pro-life people to vote that way? I’m not a bible thumper but I think I have a solution for the left wing who support “choice” and oppose the death penalty. Why don’t we call the death penalty a “retroactive abortion” or a Governor’s “right to choose.”

Thank you Dave B for your thoughts.
Good points,
“retroactive abortion” what a concept.
Thanks for your comments; keep em’ coming.
It is amazing how high and mighty the left thinks they are, it’s probably because the don’t believe in the real High and Mighty God of the Universe.

Thank you sider,
But, your rhetoric is becoming yawningly boring.
Can’t you come up with something new instead of the same old, “Racist, Bigot, Hater” routine?
Try thinking for yourself instead of following blindly the “Obama Hater” Liberal rant.
Anybody else want to answer spider?
Sider, Thank you for giving me another person to pray for.

I am a christian! I DO NOT use Christianity as an tool for hatred nor ignorance. I follow the word of God in my daily life. I am not perfect by no means and I was born a sinner – which I admit and pray for forgiveness on a daily basis.
But I do have opinons:
Honesty – how can you really put someone in the office who lies, cheats, steals, kills innocent babies that were never given a chance to LIVE….etc?
If that means I am speaking of McCain or Obama then so be it. We have to live with the decisions WE make for ourselves. Just remember that our children have to live (hopefully) with the choices we make today.
God Bless EVERYONE!!!

Hello Riggword and fellow followers of Christ! I’ve never responded to a post, but I felt compelled to do so in this case.
All we have as Christians is the Word of God..the Word whch will stand when all else fails. God’s Word is true – “Let God be true and every man a liar” We are most definitely living in the last days when the return of Jesus for his true Church is at the door. I believe by reading and studying scriptures, that Barak Hussein Obama is a “type” of the Anti-Christ. The people have gone wild after him and are blindly following someone who does not represent God but his OWN agenda. Make no mistake about this, satanic powers are at work here, and the ONLY defeat for satan and his disciples, is the blood of Jesus and the word of our testimony. Praise God! satan is defeated and our victory is in our Lord Jesus Christ! As we examine scriptures in the book of Daniel and Revelation, we see that the Antichrist will be a man of great rhetoric, and will mesmerize the masses. He will have the answer to all the world’s woes and will speak evil of the true and living God. I have never believed for one moment that Obama was a christian because he does not bear the “fruit” of a true christian. As Jesus said, “by their fruit you shall know them” The fruit of the Spirit is LOVE, JOY, PEACE, LONGSUFFERING, GENTLENESS, GOODNESS FAITH, MEEKNESS, TEMPERANCE. The Apostle Paul exhorts and explains to the saints in Corinth, the “true” meaning of love. Corint 13 chapter- please read in its entirety – but a small synopsis – Paul says, “Thou I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity (love), I am become as a sounding brass (as an echo) or a tinkling cymbal. Though I have the gift of prophecy, understand all mysteries, have all faith, bestow all my goods to feed the poor, give my body to be burned, and have not love, it profits me nothing, I am nothing”. What is true love? He continues, “Love is patient, is kind, envieth not, is not boastful, and is not “puffed up” (proud, conceited)
As was stated prevously, Obama is proud, arrogant and puffed up towards his “abnormal” zeal to “take over” the highest position in our nation. God hates pride! Satan was kicked out of heaven because he contended that “he would be as the most high and ascend up above the heavens.” Jesus said, “I behald Satan FALL FROM HEAVEN as lightning” This fallen being exhibited a characteristic that God hates and will not tolerate. “Pride goeth before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall” Humbleness is the way to be… for God “resists the proud, but gives grace (unmerited favor) to the humble. The Apostle Peter says it this way by the Holy Spirit, ” “Humble yourself in the sight of the Lord and HE WILL EXALT YOU”. Those that humble themselves WILL BE EXALTED and they who exalt themselves WILL BE ABASED! What is highly esteemed in the sight of men is an abomination before God. Beware when men speak well of you, because chances are, you are not pleasing God. Obama HAS NOT been exalted by God – this is so apparent. Therefore, he will not and cannot succeed against God’s anointed (chosen). God knows how to lift up one and how to bring down another. Look at the story of King Nebucadnezzar Book of Daniel). His heart was lifted up in pride because of his wealth and prestige, but God knew how to humble him …he reduced him lto iving among the beast of the field, eating grass as oxen, his hair grew like eagles’ feathers and his nails like bird claws. This was the King of Babylon who was humbled to know that God alone “reveals secrets” and will humble whom he will.
Just let it be well known that God sees ALL! And he will not let the words of his true people fall to the ground. God is our vindicator and HE DELIGHTS IN JUSTICE AND JUDGMENT IN THE WORLD! To the Christians, “we wrestle not gainst flesh and blood, but against principalites, powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this workd, against spiritual wickedness in high places. We cannot and will not be victorious in our own strength and might for we have none apart from Christ (“without me you cannot do anything”). Our victory is in the power of the resurrected Christ who is alive and ever lives to intercede for us before the Father. Take courage my brothers and sisters, for God will work a work in our day that will astound our adversaries and will gloriously bring praise and glory to his name. “God is able to do exceedingly, abundately, above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us (faith) All things are possible to them that believe” I am believing God that he will “expose” all the evil hidden in “shining” and “pretty” packages. That he will allow us to live a quiet and peaceable life here in this world, that he will give us godly leaders who fear God and keep his commandments. The world will mock and scoff at what we belive and what we profess, but of a truth, “every knee shall bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord! If God be for us, who can be against us! He is more than the whole world against us! Our God reigns!!!!
In conclusion, I will definitely vote for the McCain/Palin ticket. I thank God for the “clear” choice of this ticket. They are the ONLY choice for me as a black woman.
Yes, “those who are with us are more than those who are with them”.
May God have mercy on us all!

Thank you all for your good thoughts and comments.
The differences of the two candidates are made even more obvious by the responses to this post.
I have even left out several rude and profanity filled comments because I do not wish to go down that path. Profanity is not a sign of intelligence, but is a sign of a contrite heart.
We must continue to fight and get out the vote right up until the poles close on Tuesday. This is it!
The last week before the election.
Go to McCain Website and help out. Call, email, blog, pray, send letters…Do whatever you can in the last week.
Go Here to help elect McCain Palin:

It is strange to think that God is endorsing either candidate. Everything that Obama has been accused of in this blog McCain can be called to the carpet for too. The separation of church and state is critical, and the overzealous judgement made here is ungodly. God loves all of his creations, and puts them on this earth for a reason. This country was founded by Christian forefathers, but I believe we forget that the reason the Pilgrims made their way to this great country is to express their religions freely.
The hypocrasy of these words astounds me. Every election period it seems as if this nation is in divide. Christianity is not the only religion people practice in the Unites States, and if I remember correctly, acceptance is a fundamental value. There was a point in time that I was very open to a McCain/Palin ticket, until their words became not of hope and unity, but of devisiveness and despair.
It scares me a little to hear, not only read, but to have met and talked to people that believe that Obama is the Anti-Christ…which to be honest I was a little afraid that Bush might have been in 2000. So far the prophecies of such have yet to be fulfilled. The transition from 1999-2000 went more smoothly than many Americans predicted. I have a hard time believing that the sky is actually going to fall. I have come to accept these as scare tactics, which to my dismay, I have seen the Republican campaign use. In an ideal situation, both candidates would be perfectly fit to lead this country. I was raised in Christianity and have since decided that being Agnostic is the most sensible choice. Please tell me how being a radical Christian, having the mentality of “if they’re not for us, they’re against us,” is much different from being a radical Muslim or whichever religion is seen as a threat? The divisiveness is the same. The potential for danger and upset is the same. This world is very diverse, and to remain in such a closed-minded silo and not experience the richness of life is the real crime. Why would God put you on this Earth if not to enjoy it and praise him for it? You may not have to believe or follow anyone else’s opinion, but it is ok to let someone have a belief that is different from your own. It is ok for you to be a strong-minded Christian and live your life for the Lord, and still be accepting of people different from you. By not acknowledging and accepting difference, you are stunting your ability to learn, grow, and appreciate.
God has put the decision of our next President on his people. He has allowed it to be in our hands. Do we always make the right choice? Bush was elected twice wasn’t he? We decide. And hopefully, we can decide together and create a bright future for ALL of our children.

As a christian and a child of God like OBAMA is, I will be voting OBAMA. Let’s see what else God hates that McCain/Palin and your website has committed: McCain committed adultery (left his first wife for Cindy), both committed HATE just like you by promoting and advocating hate at their rallies. Both are liars – God hates liars- they lied to the American people just as your website is. Both have not shown love at all by badmouthing and saying all those nasty things about our President Obama. Obama has publicly stated the Jesus Christ is his Lord and savior and McCain has not. Sarah Palin’s daughter had sex outside of marriage and is now pregnant – this is supposedly a sin according to your christian standards. Sarah Palin guilty of abusing her power – sin as this does not show love. President Obama has shown loyalty by standing by his wife and not cheating for the last 16 years – we can’t say the same for McCain or even Palin. As a child of God, I am PRO-CHOICE. Every woman has the right to chose what happens to her body. If you’re so concerned about life, go to Africa and Asia and save all those starving children and leave me as a woman to determine what to do with my body.
The Lord God that we serve is not a God of hate. Your site promotes hatred. You’re one step away from being KKK. Search your hearts and determine the real reason why you would make a statement about God hating Obama. You’re racists, facsists, evil people and God hates EVIL.

heatherinak and Child of god pro-choice,
Thanks for your comments….I think!
Thank you both for proving that Obama is the most divisive candidate ever to run for National Office. You are exemplary of the “Hate” I have been receiving from the loving candidate.
For every one else I published these two comments as examples of the “Hate” comments I have been getting, (Just kidding about the “hate” thing, but I thought I would use a word that the libs like to throw around a lot lately; that way I am showing my wiliness to embrace my enemy and “just get along).
So these comments seem to all say the same thing as though they were written by the same person and changed a little to try and fool ever one. Not that Obama has never used someone else’s words for his own book see Obama = Bill Ayers post.
Yes, Obama’s millions of dollars and millions of Zombies can put out a lot of “Hate” posts (I could retire if I had a dollar for every comment I have recieved that has called me a racist). We on the right are writing from the heart and live independently from the massive machines that are political parities in America.
If these two really are Christians and still believe that abortion and gay marriage should be promoted than we need to pray for them.
My guess is that they are on the Obama payrole and these two posts are just the Obama campaigns last ditch stratigy to flood the blogs with their new talking propogada:
From A Lying Tongue,
“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.” Joseph Goebbels, Nazi Germany Propagandist in Chief.

Rigg,
Looks like all the hating left, liberal, folks have landed on your site.
Those who call themselves “christian” BO supporters show their ignorance of God’s Word.
We can only pray for mercy if BO is elected. Our blessed Republic has fallen so far from respect and love for the God of the Universe and Jesus Christ that I fear we will never recover.
We are all sinners in need of a Savior. Jesus Christ, God in the flesh died for all our sins, rose from the Grave and asks everyone to “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved.”
Those who trust Jesus Christ ALONE for their salvation HAVE eternal life — those who choose not to, are already condemned because they believe not.
So many have chosen not to trust Jesus Christ for Heaven.
In Christ eternally and happily,’

Riggword, I like so much the time you take to answer the comments you receive. I couldn’t agree more with you that these “hatred” comments are coming from Obama’s campaign!

thank you both for your kind words.
Yes the liberal blog machine found me a long time ago. These are just a few examples.
They always start with some reference to being a “Christian” and end with calling me a “racist” because I stand with the word of God.
It’s also interesting how they come in flurries and say practically the same thing. Occasionally they are word for word with different names attached.

@riggword: I see you’ve quoted Goebbels, is that because you guys attended the same school for strategic propaganda? On all of your accusations of ties to political radicals: McCain has some questions to answer too, like the suspicions of National Security News Service that McCain went all Chappaquiddick on someone in a car accident in 1964. The difference here is that this cover-up is yet to be exposed. At least the skeletons in Obama’s closet are metaphorical.
9 years of Catholic school taught me that the most important consideration in all discussions should be the truth, which this post has very little to do with. Along with a lying tongue, God equally does not look favorably upon lying fingers.
Arguing with you over facts is probably futile because your attachment to reality seems to have gone by the wayside long ago. I will not currently waste my energy with citations that will go unread. If you’re interested, e-mail me and we can civilly discuss the differences between what appear to be prevalent facts and what else appear to be hate- and/or fear-mongering falsities.
@mari garcia: The “hatred” comments might be coming from people who read the headline of this post. “Obama and 7 Things God Hates.” That’s where my idea that this article was about hatred came from.

Check it out at some blog named Eons or something at:

It is easy to call people that you disagree with names. Obama is someone I disagree with; that is that. In my Bible Obama disagrees with some of the things that God hates. Obama will press forward with legislation and changes in America that will go against God’s word.
Therefore I disagree with Obama on those issues. It seems elementary that because I disagree does not mean I hate Obama. I guess that makes Cardinal Justin Rigali a hater as well.

Thank you for your humble opinions.
If you would just read what I said you wouldn’t have to write in such an angry manner. This is not about hate….come on get real.
This is not about Obama’s past…..
This is about the “Fact” that Obama supports abortion and keeping it as easy as possible to kill the most innocent.
This is about “Hands that shed innocent blood”
As far as spending my time emailing all of the left wing offers I get….nice try!
You guys don’t like to stay on topic. I am not going to waste my time chasing after a bubble in the wind.
There are more important things to do before Tuesday than to waste time with people who do not want to understand the Bible and God’s relationship to man.
After the election if you truly want to know God better I can give you some resources; you can start with the Bible, then maybe read Cardinal Rigali’s article on abortion and the election.
Thank you for giving me one more person to pray for.

Child of God Pro Choice: McCain hasn’t claimed Jesus as his savior? Have you not heard him speak of what kept him going for 5 1/2 years while he was beaten, tortured, locked in a hole, and actually lived the life of a slave? What is this hatred for Sarah Palin? Is it that “pro choice” means “choose abortion”? I can’t help but notice that most of the Obama supporters appear nasty, hateful, and very unhappy and I believe its because people are calling you out on your position to vote for someone like Obama knowing the guy is so unqualified and mysterious. You’re not voting for 6th grade president of the class and you know it and it appears you’re striking out at anyone that reminds you of just how juvenile, uninformed, and naive you are being. Go into the booth and vote for the “cool” candidate if you want, its your right but don’t try to justify it to people who have seen thousands of Obamas in the past or people who have sons and daughters in harms way that know just how dangerous the “cool candidate” will be as Commander and Chief.

Thank you for a reasoned position based on Scripture.
No, God does not “hate Obama”, but He is certainly unhappy with the 7 items mentioned that Obama routinely and adamantly does or advocates for others to do …after all, He DID say that He hates those things, and that the seventh is an abomination to Him. [I prefer KJV]
Doesn’t mean He hates Obama, nor did you nor any one say He does, though some have tried to put those words into your mouth.
God also called it an abomination to have different sets of (dishonest) weights and measures, to use the one when buying, and the other when selling. That also applies to using two different standards to weigh the actions [discernment; not judgment] of candidates, as well.
I see a lot of use of ‘two sets of measures’ among Obama supporters. They tend to conflate hating his policies and positions into hating him as a person, but excuse their own viol vitriolic diatribes and false accusations against Sarah Palin’s family, John & Cindy McCain, “Joe the Plumber”, and all the rest as somehow justified and acceptable.
Also, far up the comments list, I noticed a comment about “illegally violating Iraq’s sovereignty”. Besides violating the U.N. resolutions, Sadam was in violation of his cease fire agreements nearly every day, by locking on and attempting to target Coalition aircraft patrolling the ‘No-fly Zone”. That alone was effectively abrogating the cease fire …not ‘peace’… agreements he signed, and thus was unilaterally reinstituting a state of war himself. The Left likes to forget that WMDs were only one minor reason among many that war was renewed with Iraq.

Thank you so much for your encouragement and your great comments. We will all need to stick together for the next couple of days; the rest of our lives for that matter.
First to get McCain elected,
Next to prepare if Obama…..wins…
Third when McCain wins there will be a whole lot of Angry liberal Americans out there; we need to embrace them and show them Jesus.
Whatever happens on Tuesday the next few years will be a great time to minister to the broken. Although anytime is a great time to minister and evangelize.

I have been understanding more people claim to be so called christian in belief. I am not the one to judge but I see many sin on Saturday then sit in front at church on Sunday. I know our Lord forgives but only if one is sorry and makes a personal effort not to sin again, it’s like a personal promise but some only fool themselves and no effort tryed does not relieve and take away the sin which was done before. I personally feel Obama has built a big “Snowball” but once the snowball which is built on deceit with falsehood, it can get away from him on the final day’s and roll down where he cannot recover. I have not heard him say anything of his belief in the Lord. Someone who says they trust God…But is he really saying to what God, there are many who are not Christian, he did say he was Christian? I went to a Christian School myself and you get to know how a person’s personality and speach is shown, You get to know who is a real Christian, not just someone walking the walk and talking the talk. I have a “Gut” feeling something is not right about Obama. I do not buy what he is selling, there is no real “Soul” into how he is trying to come across. The times I see him speak, when he try’s to show a care about something, he smiles afterwards like the way a con man tryes to pull off a fast one in a hussle. I am a good person who is has compassion for my fellow man but I do not see this at all! I help at the republican political office and I pray and I ask for all your prayers for Senator John Mc Cain to be victorious in the name of God our Lord. We all need to pray and try our best, I have a feeling we will never get the chance to ever make things right again, the World as we know it may change for the worst forever. Good shall over come evil. The evil may come with us not even knowing. I am aware to beware of the comming of: “THE MAN WHO WILL TRY TO BE ALL THINGS TO ALL MEN!” I am sorry to say,”Like my late father before me has said: I cannot take a chance… This situation is at our doorstep!!! We all need all we can do & work hard for Mc Cain’s election. Our final eve of no return may be in the balance.I have faith the light shall over come darkness and the one who lies with a silver tongue!!! Thank’s to all.
