Obama, “Here I come to Save the Day…!”

Yes Obama will attempt to swoop down and

pluck the American economy out of the ragging river

before the U. S. SUV goes under.

Some of us will see him as just another Andy Kaufman wanna be.

Unfortuantley others will still believe he is the Saviour.

Be prepared for Obama, Pelosi, Reid, and Frank to take credit for passing a “better bail out bill” on Wednesday. They will blame the Republicans, Bush, and McCain for muddling up the first vote. And Obamawill be marched out as the one man who could get it done!

Obama is truly clueless and makes Andy Kaufman look like the real Mighty Mouse.

*** *** ***

Rush Agrees with Me…at least on the thought that Pelosi, Reid, Frank, and Obama all wanted the bill to fail, so that they can try and make the Republicans look bad and Obama look good; it’s all about power and control of America!

From Limbaugh Sept. 30th, 2008:

Everybody is misunderstanding what happened yesterday. CNN is destroying the Republicans. Our friends at National Review Online and their blog The Corner are destroying the Republicans. Well, I know, Snerdley, you may not read ‘em but people on the Hill do, and the Republicans on the Hill do not understand what’s happened to Mr. Buckley’s organization because they’re being ripped to shreds by conservatives at The Corner and other places. The fact of the matter is Nancy Pelosi got exactly what she wanted yesterday. She got an economic disaster, perceived economic disaster. The bill went down to defeat. It was by design to go down to defeat. Nancy Pelosi didn’t do one thing to stop renegade Democrats from voting against the bailout. There are a lot of Democrats in very unsafe seats, unsafe districts right now. They had to vote “no” because the overwhelming majority of the American people wanted no part of this, as written. They understand. As complicated as the language of this is, it’s not complex for the average citizen, which understands that the market and the government are two different things.

So there’s a lot at work here, and it’s simple to understand. There were five committee chairmen that owe their careers to Nancy Pelosi, who voted against the bailout. She didn’t try to twist their arms. She didn’t do anything of the sort. She goes out there looking all ash-faced yesterday like it’s the dregs of disappointment. She got exactly what she wanted today. She’s got the idiots, the economic illiterates at CNN, at MSNBC, at ABC, CBS, wherever, blaming McCain, blaming Republicans, 35 days before an election. Five weeks out, the Drive-By Media is following right as they should, blaming Republicans for an upcoming economic disaster. They played election issue politics yesterday disguised as trying to help the country and save the country. The Democrats want as much economic chaos as they can create. They want as much angst; they want as much concern; they want you thinking crisis, crisis, crisis, crisis, crisis; they want all of this happening so that you will elect Obama. (Limbaugh)

On the other hand Rush Limbaugh does not agree with me

on getting a good bill passed quickly.

From Malkin:

Rush: God bless the anti-bailout Republicans

By Michelle Malkin • September 30, 2008 06:23 PM

Amen to this.

Here’s a helpful list of the Republicans who don’t deserve any thanks or praise: The 65 who took a dive.

As the bailout water-carriers try and drum up support for a do-over, watch their language.

The same people who tried to tell you that amnesty was not amnesty are now trying to whitewash “bailout” out of the public vocabulary. It’s a “rescue” and a “workout” and anything but what it is.

Orwell approves. (More Malkin)

Obama: Hey, maybe I should lift a finger to help the bailout pass; Update: Senate vote tomorrow

What does it take to make The One roll up his sleeves? Just the prospect of economic calamity. Oh, and Karl Rove publicly humiliating him for doing jack to help pass this bill when he’s out telling voters is desperately needed to avert disaster.

Barack Obama on Tuesday stepped up his advocacy for the Bush Administration’s endangered $700 billion bailout plan by making a round of calls to rank-and-file Democrats in the House and casting congressional inaction in dire, real-world terms. He also massaged his pitch, no longer using the word “bailout” to describe the bill…

Obama reached out to individual House members Tuesday, signaling that the Democratic nominee was taking a deeper role in the process. The campaign would not disclose names, but said he was coordinating his efforts with the congressional leadership.

“He is urging members to take another look at it,” spokeswoman Linda Douglass said.

For a real clear picture of what happened read this Hugh Hewitt post:

Tuesday, September 30, 2008

Posted by: Hugh Hewitt at 8:50 AM Why did Nancy Pelosi sink the rescue package and Barack Obama and Harry Reid allow her to do so?

The harshest voices in the leftosphere were certainly screaming at her. Kos posted “Pelosi thinks we’re stupid” yesterday morning which ranted at the Speaker, and Michael Moore thundered away at “biggest robbery in the history of this country.”

Pelosi buckled, and with her went a trillion dollars in long accumulated wealth, nursed over decades into retirement accounts. Where was Obama? “Just trying to stay out of the battle,” Rudy Giulianai told me yesterday about the Democratic nominee. “You know, ‘Let me keep my skirts clean.’”

The carnage from the Destructocrats’ inability to lead past their hard left base paralyzed the country yesterday and is a glimpse of the future if Obama hangs on to his narrow lead, and the hard left trio of Obama-Pelosi-Reid are running the country. That really means Ayers-Kos-Moore will be running the country, rising up in a vast snarl every time their kept politicians depart from their line. Axelord thinks he is riding that beast, but yesterday showed who is in control. (more Hewitt)

Posted by: Hugh Hewitt at 4:52 PM From McCain spokesman Tucker Bounds earlier today:

“When Barack Obama released remarks today that praised the passage of America’s economic rescue plan, just before his allies in Congress voted to kill it, it revealed just how out of touch Barack Obama has been during this crisis. As our country stares economic disaster directly in the face, Barack Obama has called for higher taxes we can’t afford, more federal spending we can’t afford and shown failed leadership we can’t afford.”

Flash: Senate bailout vote on Wednesday

By Michelle Malkin • September 29, 2008 01:09 PM

It was just announced that the Senate bailout vote will take place on Wednesday, not later today.

That’s time.

Time is money. Your money.

Call your Senator: 202-224-3121.

WWMD?

What will McCain do?

Riehl World View says:

ObaPelosi: Not Ready To Lead

I recently mentioned Obama’s need to play politics on the current financial crisis during the recent debate while McCain remained above it. It makes it fairly clear Obama is not ready to lead America at large.

Now comes Pelosi’s speech in which she did the very same thing Obama did right before the crucial vote. They’d both rather play politics while the American economy hangs in the balance. And for that, they should politically hang.

Neither Pelosi, nor Obama are ready to lead America. That’s just a fact.

  1. Your right,

    Barack Obama is Andy Kaufman

  2. ……and Nancy Pelosi makes a great Cruella Deville.

  3. Thank you for your comments,

    Noriko and EGBOK 321,

Cruella Deville might be insulted however.

We could probably come up with a whole list of characters for the Dems.

Thanks again and hold on tight this is going to be a bumpy roller coaster ride.

  4. I am really becoming concerned about the actual threat that an Obama presidency (coupled with a Dem Congress/Senate and Supreme Court) poses to our great nation.

Yes, we laugh at Obama’s megalomania.

The Germans of the 1930’s laughed at Hitler’s.

But now may be the time to stop laughing and get serious about making sure that America will not suffer the same fate as Germany did by putting the funny little man in a poition of power.

We have seen his personal presidential seal. We have seen his appeals to the masses of Europe that he will be for them. We have seen his grandiose presidential nomination acceptance speech.

We must remember… these are mere signs of what is to come. Or, as the saying goes: “The worst is yet to come.”

Perhaps we can find a warning from Jesus in what this “new messiah” has to bring to our old America:

“…the new wine will burst the [old wine skins], and itself will be spilled, and the [old] skins will perish.” (Luke 5:37)

I predict that if Obama wins the presidency in 33 days, the theme of his rousing Inaugural Address on January 20th will be “The New America”.

And when you hear it, remember the words of Jesus from Luke 5:37.
And then let your laughter turn to mourning.

Weep for the children of Obamanazism

  5. PELOSI, Lost the vote on a bad bill that the republicans could not vote for. MSM tells us this must be done, all the Dems want to point fingers, McCain went back to help, and was accused with politicking but was able to give the GOP the B”"”s to oppose a very partisan bill with gloom and doom looming they said NO! The DFL could have done it on their own but couldn’t get enough votes from their own base. Where Obama in this? Oh call me if you need me. Sorry McCain and the GOP although still must swallow hard but the bill the senate will vote on today is a great deal better than the others before it for the American people! Compare all 4 proposals and you will see that because of the debates the people have had a particle win.

  6. Zyle,

You are so right on this.

The Obama Phnomonon is right out of the communist play book and not far off of the Hitler plan.

Obama’s gang has hit the American public so hard and for so long that their heads are spinning.

The electorit it is worn out, Obama’s crew is strong well funded and organized, they will bully their way to a win. Just look at how many are in Alaska digging through dumpsters.

And now we have an October mess in our financial world, coincidence?….maybe not! The communists always kept things in turmoil and chaos to keep the people confused. There is no proof of a deep rooted plan but Pelosi, Reid and Obama are in no hurry to set things straight and calm down America.
