Sarah Palin’s Attitude Lifts McCain Above Obama:

Sarah Palin will lift Americans above their doldrums as well.

Her spirit is infectious, Her stance is strong, Her message is uplifting, Her life is full of self-determination. She will lift the spirits of the people of this amazing country. Deep in our hearts Americans are still independent, self-motivated, “Can do” people. Some of us have been supressing that American Spirit for a long time. Sarah Palin has come along in the nick of time to reignite that American spirit in the great people of America. When America is energized the world as a whole benefits.

Winston Churchill once said,

“Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference”.

If there is one thing that Sarah Palin brings to this election it is attitude. She has spunk, charisma, and wit, but most of all she has a “Can Do” attitude that will serve America well in the coming years. We have fallen to a low point in attitude. Everything Michelle and Barack Obama come to the table with is negative about America. It is no wonder that they are so popular; it has become fashionable to discredit America and tear her down. A segment of our population has been infested with an attitude of guilt and self-hate over the last several decades. Like Regan in the 80s, Sarah Palin will help put an attitude of pride back into Americans.

Sarah Palin has come along at a time when America needs an Attitude boost.

She is a woman for these times. It is not that she is some miraculous healer, or divine goddess. She is just the epitome of the American spirit we used to learn about in our public schools. In fact one of her biggest enemies is the teacher’s unions. They do not want a vice-president or president for that matter that will push for Americans to make their own choices in which schools their children will attend. School choice is just one example of how Sarah will change the attitude of the people of America. Children are the future and the establishment educators in this country have been filling their heads with anti-American images and blame America first attitudes for too many years. It is time someone like Sarah Palin came along to help rescue our children from the public school system and help them regain the Attitude that has made the United States of America the greatest country to every exist on the planet.

Sarah Palin has a great attitude that will make a big difference.

The strength of America is that ordinary people are encouraged to do extraordinary things. Americans used to have extraordinary attitudes. When each one of us raises our expectations and attitude about reaching our dreams the country as a whole benefits. As each individual says, “I can reach my dreams” and then proceeds to strive for those dreams the whole of society benefits. When each individual takes one step up on the ladder of success the country as a whole takes millions of steps up that ladder. When America steps up the rest of the people of the world benefit. Sarah Palin has already inspired us to take that step up. Her attitude will strengthen those of us who still believe in American excellence and at the same time her attitude will help to encourage others to jump on board and strive for that excellence. Sarah Palin will pave the way for a return to the American Dream through a change in Americans’ attitudes. (riggword)

Malkin has a key story:

Huffing HuffPo desperate for a GOP gaffe

By Michelle Malkin  •  September 8, 2008 01:12 PM

How desperate is the Huffington Post to point to an Obama/Biden-like rhetorical gaffe by Sarah Palin?

This desperate: (Hat tip: HA Headlines)

Gov. Sarah Palin made her first potentially major gaffe during her time on the national scene while discussing the developments of the perilous housing market this past weekend.

Speaking before voters in Colorado Springs, the Republican vice presidential nominee claimed that lending giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac had “gotten too big and too expensive to the taxpayers.” The companies, as McClatchy reported, “aren’t taxpayer funded but operate as private companies. The takeover may result in a taxpayer bailout during reorganization.”

Economists and analysts pounced on the misstatement, saying it demonstrated a lack of understanding about one of the key economic issues likely to face the next administration.

“You would like to think that someone who is going to be vice president and conceivable president would know what Fannie and Freddie do,” said Dean Baker, co-director of the Center for Economic and Policy Research. “These are huge institutions and they are absolutely central to our country’s mortgage debt. To not have a clue what they do doesn’t speak well for her, I’d say.”

The only ones without a clue here are the HuffPo’s Obama water-carriers. (more on Palin smears)

McCain Palin move above Obama in Polls

From USA Today:

Poll: Convention lifts McCain over Obama

WASHINGTON — The Republican National Convention has given John McCain and his party a significant boost, a USA TODAY/Gallup Poll taken over the weekend shows, as running mate Sarah Palin helps close an “enthusiasm gap” that has dogged the GOP all year.

McCain leads Democrat Barack Obama by 50%-46% among registered voters, the Republican’s biggest advantage since January and a turnaround from the USA TODAY poll taken just before the convention opened in St. Paul. Then, he lagged by 7 percentage points. (More on McCain Palin Surge)

McCain’s Successful Convention: How so and Why
By Clark S. Judge

By last night (Sunday) it had become clear: Despite almost exactly opposite reporting in the mainstream media, the Democrats two weeks ago had their second failed convention in a row. It was the Republican convention that proved a huge success. How so and why?

First the “how so.” Politicians live and die by polls. A convention succeeds if it produces a bounce, the bigger the better. By Tuesday last week in the aftermath of his convention, Barack Obama’s lead over John McCain in the Real Clear Politics average of polls had opened up to the largest margin since late June, 6.4 percentage points. By last night, in the wake of the latest Rasmussen tracking poll showing a tie and the Gallup tracking poll showing McCain up by three points, the RCP average spread was 0.8 percent, the smallest margin since early June.

The bad news may soon become worse. Thursday night word spread around St. Paul’s Xcel Energy Center that not only was a CBS poll showing the race tied (some dismissed the survey as a fluke), but a California poll had the race within nine points in the largest and most Democratic state in the nation. Some began to wonder if, with a little more momentum, the Golden State might go into play.

Apparently Republicans weren’t the only ones to notice a major movement in public opinion, even, perhaps, in California. Yesterday, the San Francisco Chronicle (hardly a GOP mouthpiece) ran an op-ed by former city mayor and former Democratic Speaker of the California Assembly Willie Brown (hardly a GOP ally). His lead was, “The Democrats are in trouble.” Coming out of the McCain convention, he warned, “the Republicans are now on the offensive and Democrats are on the defensive. And we don’t do well on the defensive.” (Complete Article)

The Left continues to try and trash Sarah Palin because they don’t like her attitude.

MTV piles on the Palin family; host Russell Brand promotes Obama, bashes America, Bush, and Christians; viewer backlash; transcript added

Scroll down for updates…transcript added…the Associated Press gives two thumbs up, naturally…

Obama’s Viacom thugs strike.

Reader M.G. writes that the MTV Awards show was the latest venue for vicious Palin family-bashing:

“I know a few people at Viacom and I tuned in to see the MTV music awards tonight. I was disgusted and appalled when the British host Russell Brand started begging America to vote for Barack Obama. Like his opinion matters. He’s not even a citizen. What’s worse is that he attacked Sarah Palin’s pregnant daughter. He made a snide joke that her baby was not a boy or a girl, but a P.R. stunt.”

You can watch Brand’s opening screed here. This cretin’s claim to fame? Dressing up as Osama bin Laden on the day after the September 11 terrorist attacks. (more)

What’s on pages 4 & 5 of Us Weekly’s Palin-bashing issue

By Michelle Malkin • September 8, 2008 04:34 AM

I scanned the pages of Us Weekly magazine over the weekend.

As if there were any doubt about how much of an Obama propagandist vehicle Us has become, behold: “Michelle’s Campaign Style.” We learn that “Michelle’s style can best be described as ‘timeless’ and that she prefers ‘festive jewel-toned dresses.’” We learn that she “possesses a natural and unpretentious sophistication” and that she “has the grace and beauty of a dancer” whether she’s wearing her “silk faille Moschino jacket,” or the “teal silk Narcisco Rodriguez dress.” On August 23, Us Weekly informs its millions of readers, “Michelle rocked a printed cotton poplin Moschino wrap dress.” And “on the night Barack, 47, accepted that nomination for the presidency,” we are told, “Michelle glowed in a silk radzimir kimono dress from Thakoon: (more)

  3. There is an interesting article posted today which y’all might be interested in called “America’s Esther”:

It goes right along with this blog.

    ———————————————

“…with John McCain’s choice, we are seeing someone right before our eyes who is capturing the hearts of the American people in a way that defies description and that is simultaneously shattering the strange hold that Obama has had on this nation for the last 19 long and horrifying months.”

    ———————————————-

While Sarah Heath Palin is endearing herself to most Americans, her emergence is also bringing forth some of the most vile, unwarranted attacks imagineable from those who, like Haman (mentioned in the article), would put her and her people to death (in another time and place).

But even the fact that her enemies are so focused upon her confirms that “the strange hold that Obama has had” is shattered. Even the followers of the false messiah BHO are no longer focused upon him but upon SHP.

I am grateful to God for bringing to us, “for such a time as this”, Sarah Palin to bring “sanity and inspiration to a people in dire need of strong awakening.”

  4. Welcome Zyle,

Interesting that you quote Savage’s post “America’s Esther”.

I guess great minds do run in the same vein.

But I am wondering if you or Savage have read my post, “Sarah Palin a Woman for Times Such as These” at
    “http://riggword.wordpress.com/2008/09/07/sarah-palin-a-woman-for-times-such-as-these/

My article is based on the Story of Esther and quotes actual Bible verses. I’ll guess I’ll have to check out the Savage version just to see who wrote the better post.

    Thanks for your comments Kyle.

  5. peak9,

You are correct in your statement, “She is the reason John McCain’s poll numbers are now ahead of Obama’s. McCain is going to ride the Palin wave into the White House.”

But, the real reason is that the American people have common sense and wisdom. The American way breeds individualism and prosperity. Sarah Palin only reflects what most Americans know instinctually.

McCain and his advisers made a great choice calculating what Americans really want. I am thankful that they got it right.

It is the wisdom of Americans reflected in Palin that has the country moving towards McCain.

    God Bless

  6. Riggword, are you are out there? I need to converse with you before this ex- Demorcrat abodonds ship. where are you? Sleeping, I hate to say like the inaccesible Texas John McCain homw website?

    [Hello reta heard,

I am afraid you will have to explain what you are up to here. I am not sure what you mean, so it makes it hard for me to know what to say.]

  7. I have recieved emails from Obama’s campaign today ( in response to an assertive email that I sent them negating all of what Obama says that he stands for which in reality is a joke.. since the educated person knows that he stands for the person that can help him make the most money he can go away with whether he loses are not). But I have yet to find a suppotive Texan community supporter of MCCAIN and PALIN except in Cooper, Tx that was over 100 miles outside of where I live. but yet the McCain headquarters told me that their was someone in my area that would be made aware of my availability to support McCain, but I have had found noone in the Texarkana, Tx area that holds the same current political beliefs that are similiar to our family or those that I have direct communication with. But , you can’t solve this problem…I just have to keep trying to locate the Rebuplican Party or John MCcAIN/PALIN party in my home town but if I consider what the ‘Federal Reserve’ truly means does it really matter anyway. My apologizes for giving you more power than you actually have, but I truly do respect you communication skills and computer expertise.
My Huband that is a staunch Republican pointed out to me that the Obama Campaign has answered every email that I have sent (although neative) and that I have recieved nothing from the Texans that are supposed to support MCCAIN except to illicit campaign contributions. I snoped the local area where I live and found that that where I live the majority is Democrats and I am the only one with a MCCAIN yard sign ( in my neighborhood) so far and I am just wondering where in the hell are the Republicans that support MCCain because I can’t find them unless I go outside my hometown of Texarkana, TX. Again, Riggword this is not your problem.. this is mine and I have to make the ultimate decision to decide if I remain Switzerland in this election and encourage family and friends to do the same because in actually what does the “Federal Reserve” mean except what that of us that has studied what the FDR New Deal really meant and who was behind it. I, truly do not hold to conspiracy theories,,,just facts. Thanks, Reta Heard. I am sure you have to work tomorrow.
Thanks for allowing the venting of frustration of a confused Democrat.

  8. “My Husband that is a staunch Republican pointed out to me that the Obama Campaign has answered every email that I have sent”

    Reta Heard,

The Obama Machine has a lot of money. With the guidance of Howard Dean the Obama Machine set in place automatic email responses and a mailing campaign that is second to none. McCain had to struggle to stay financially alive during the primaries. He is just now, with the addition of Palin, starting to catch up in the money game.

Don’s confuse money and power with someone who actually cars about you. Obama is a big production marketing machine. It is like Macdonald’s tying to sell you a Big Mac. Obama is the marketing genius of 2008. Obama is the product; he has no substance just a shell to sell to the public.

McCain, however ruff around the edges, is substance. He has decades of active service that demonstrates his substance.

    Don’t be fooled by packaging.

Listen to your husband he is right on this election.

    God Bless reta,
