Ok all of the Kos Conspiracy experts can come out of the closet now!
And by the way this is a heroic statement. But someone should be ashamed of jumping on the “Non-Story” of Sarah Palin’s faked pregnancy….The Dems have no shame!
At least the Palin’s don’t share Obama’s thought that their daughter would “be burdened with a baby”. What a classy family the Palins are. This is just something the left will never understand.
The left has gone too far with this smear rumor escapade:
Recently I have received many comments on the subject of the Palin family and their children.
I may have made a mistake by publishing a couple just to see if they would follow some type of decent thread. I took a chance and as usual I was wrong with allow this sort of debate to start in the first place.
Now I am receiving more and more disgusting comments from Obama supporters. I would rather not make a public scene on my blog
My decision is to not publish them and pray that the debate gets back to issues and real problems having to do with illegalities and national security.
It is my opinion that the Obama camp wants the Rezko, Bill Ayers, Jeremiah Wright and Acorn issues to disappear by smearing the Palin Family and distracting the media and the electorate.
It is time for an apology from the Dems and Kos.
Where are all the Kos Democrats now?

Every major Democrat presidential candidate has attended the Yearly Kos convention. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid keynoted the nutroots’ annual gathering two years ago. Dick Durbin appeared via satellite with the official Senate seal in the background. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi sat down with the Kossacks and their ilk for a chat at Netroots Nation this year. Hillary pandered to the Kos crowd last summer. So did Barack Obama.
Ever since John McCain announced his VP pick, the Daily Kos — the self-declared “New Center” of American politics — has been an out-of-control incubator of deranged conspiracy theories and attacks on GOP Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s family. Will a single Kos Democrat stand up publicly and specifically denounce the madness on the left side of the Internet? Or do they agree with the Kos smear merchants that monitoring Palin family pregnancies and jeering about 17-year-old Bristol’s situtation — as Kos himself does here in this post now featured on the front page of the site — is “fair game? So far Obama has made at least one statement:

Democratic nominee Sen. Barack Obama Monday afternoon issued a strong statement to “back off” reports of Bristol Palin’s pregnancy, telling reporters families — and especially children — are off limits in this presidential campaign.
Mr. Obama, campaigning here, also noted that his own mother was 18 when she gave birth to him.
“People’s families are off limits,” he said. “People’s children are especially off limits. This shouldn’t be part of our politics. It has no relevance to Gov. Palin’s performance as a governor or her potential performance as a vice president. ”
“I would strongly urge people to back off these kinds of stories,” he added. “That shouldn’t be a topic in our politics.”
He vehemently pushed back against an unnamed McCain aide suggesting his campaign had any ties to the blogs that were spreading rumors before the news broke, saying he was “offended” by that and if any of his staff was involved in spreading the issue, “they’d be fired.”
To rebut rumors, Palin says daughter, 17, pregnant
by Steve Holland
ST. PAUL (Reuters) – The 17-year-old daughter of Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is pregnant, Palin said on Monday in an announcement intended to knock down rumors by liberal bloggers that Palin faked her own pregnancy to cover up for her child.
Bristol Palin, one of Alaska Gov. Palin’s five children with her husband, Todd, is about five months pregnant and is going to keep the child and marry the father, the Palins said in a statement released by the campaign of Republican presidential candidate John McCain.
Bristol Palin made the decision on her own to keep the baby, McCain aides said.
“We have been blessed with five wonderful children who we love with all our heart and mean everything to us,” the Palins’ statement said.

Posted by: Hugh Hewitt at 12:27 PM This Reuters story caps off 72 hours of shame for the leftosphere and their pals in the MSM who trafficked in wretched rumor about Sarah Palin and her family. This led to the breach in the family’s private life, and to an extent that should appal everyone. The children of candidates and officials should be off limits, even if the nutters declare they are not. I even understood the MSM’s reluctance to pursue the Edwards story because of the impact on Edwards’ family.
I applaud the Palin for their candor and their decision to be compleletly transparent with the public, and expect the vast majority of decent Americans of all political stripes will respect their wish to keep the young couple out of the news. This is hardly a rare story, though it is always a difficult one for families to work through. In the end it just means that Sarah Palin will not only be the first woman and mother to be vice president, but also the fist grandmother to hold the office as well. Here is the statement of Sarah and Todd Palin:
“We have been blessed with five wonderful children who we love with all our heart and mean everything to us. Our beautiful daughter Bristol came to us with news that as parents we knew would make her grow up faster than we had ever planned. We’re proud of Bristol’s decision to have her baby and even prouder to become grandparents. As Bristol faces the responsibilities of adulthood, she knows she has our unconditional love and support.
“Bristol and the young man she will marry are going to realize very quickly the difficulties of raising a child, which is why they will have the love and support of our entire family. We ask the media to respect our daughter and Levi’s privacy as has always been the tradition of children of candidates.”
UPDATE: This e-mail is very representative of what I expect the reaction to this announcement will be from all decent people of good will: (Hugh Hewitt)
Bristol Palin chooses life. Now leave her alone.
The Palin family values the sanctity of life. They talk the talk and walk the walk. It is driving the Left absolutely insane beyond the farthest reaches of unhingedness. Now comes the news that 17-year-old daughter Bristol is pregnant. “News” that wouldn’t be news but for the nutroots P.D.S. conspiracy theories that won’t die.
What will the bottom-feeders do next? Investigate their dating history? Hound them during their pre-natal visits a la Alan Colmes?
Obama has a different view on the Sanctity of life
Chilling: Obama’s concern for abortionists’ burden
Barack Obama translation:
Oh, what a drag it is on abortionists to detect movement and signs of life in a baby who survived attempted murder.
Such a burden to have to call in another doctor to determine the viability of the baby — or “however way you want to describe it.”

People need to get behind poor Bristol and tell her that she is doing the right thing. This poor girl doesn’t need to be hearing all these bad things people are saying about her. She deserves better than that. A friend showed me this website where people are leaving positive comments for Bristol. I left mine earlier tonight. You should leave one too!
