Sarah Palin is a Proverbs 31 Woman:

“But a woman who fears the Lord , she shall be praised”:

Although Governor Palin does not flaunt her deep-rooted Christian beliefs she does not back down from her faith. Her faith in God, her strong family values, and her work ethic make her a modern day Proverbs 21 woman. Raising five children, helping with the family business and using her personal God given gifts to make changes in the politics of Alaska that have helped all Americans makes her eligible for the title of a Proverbs 31 woman.

Now the lefty loonies are attacking a Good Woman:

Michelle Malkin has this:

Palin attacks counterproductive as well as moronic

By see-dubya  •  August 31, 2008 02:49 PM

I hate to spend any more time or blog real estate on such grabastic buffoons who are digging up–well, making up–crap about Governor Palin, but let me add a comment to the second item Michelle mentioned here.

Basically a loon at Kos believes that Sarah Palin’s fifth child was actually born to Palin’s high school daughter and the Governor’s just covering for her.

It’s just one lone nut blogging at Kos, you might point out. Barely even worth a post. And that’s what I thought until I looked at the results of the poll at the bottom: (More)

From the Anchorage Daily News in 2006:

Palin’s parents say they are not political and don’t know how she decided to turn her ambition and work ethic toward politics. Her Christian faith, they say, came from her mother, who took her children to area Bible churches as they were growing up (Sarah is the third of four siblings). They say her faith has been steady since high school, when she led the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and grew stronger as she sought out believers in her college years.Palin doesn’t brandish her religion on the campaign trail, but that doesn’t prevent others from doing so. After she was first elected mayor, her predecessor, John Stein, objected that a Valley cable TV program had hailed her as Wasilla’s first “Christian mayor.”

She’s a woman, W O M A N,

A Proverbs 31 woman:

Proverbs 31

10 Who can find a virtuous wife?
For her worth is far above rubies.
11 The heart of her husband safely trusts her;
So he will have no lack of gain.
12 She does him good and not evil
All the days of her life.
13 She seeks wool and flax,
And willingly works with her hands.
14 She is like the merchant ships,
She brings her food from afar.
15 She also rises while it is yet night,
And provides food for her household,
And a portion for her maidservants.
16 She considers a field and buys it;
From her profits she plants a vineyard.
17 She girds herself with strength,
And strengthens her arms.
18 She perceives that her merchandise is good,
And her lamp does not go out by night.
19 She stretches out her hands to the distaff,
And her hand holds the spindle.
20 She extends her hand to the poor,
Yes, she reaches out her hands to the needy.
21 She is not afraid of snow for her household,
For all her household is clothed with scarlet.
22 She makes tapestry for herself;
Her clothing is fine linen and purple.
23 Her husband is known in the gates,
When he sits among the elders of the land.
24 She makes linen garments and sells them,
And supplies sashes for the merchants.
25 Strength and honor are her clothing;
She shall rejoice in time to come.
26 She opens her mouth with wisdom,
And on her tongue is the law of kindness.
27 She watches over the ways of her household,
And does not eat the bread of idleness.
28 Her children rise up and call her blessed;
Her husband also, and he praises her:
29 “ Many daughters have done well,
But you excel them all.”
30 Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing,
But a woman who fears the LORD, she shall be praised.
31 Give her of the fruit of her hands,
And let her own works praise her in the gates.

From LifeNews.com we find a Story about Sarah Palin’s Pro-life record:

Anchorage, AK (LifeNews.com) As the governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin hasn’t had many opportunities to address the issue of abortion, but she has promoted a pro-life position when given the opportunity. Palin has appeared to have an attitude focusing on getting pro-life measures approved but making sure they’re done right.

The Alaska legislature approved a parental consent bill to help parents know when their minor children are considering an abortion and to give them the ability to veto the abortion.

The Alaska Supreme Court eventually declared unconstitutional on a 3-2 vote.

Palin called the high court’s ruling “outrageous” and asked Attorney General Talis Colberg to file legal papers asking for a re-hearing.

“She feels parental consent is reasonable because it is required in nearly every aspect of a child’s life. It’s a parent’s right and responsibility to be involved in their child’s life,” spokeswoman Sharon Leighow said at the time.

Since the decision, Governor Palin appointed Daniel Winfree of Fairbanks to replace one of the judges who sided with the majority in overturning the consent statute.

That earned her praise from Alaska Right to Life, the state’s leading pro-life group…

“My belief is parents have the right to know about the health and welfare of their children,” she said.

From the Boston Globe’s Boston.com:

Sarah Palin on faith, life and creation

Posted by Michel Paulson August 29, 2008 12:20 P.M.

John McCain’s vice-presidential pick, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, is an evangelical Protestant with a strong record of opposition to abortion and an openness to teaching creationism in the public schools.

Palin is the mother of five children, one of whom was born with Down Syndrome. She learned that her son had Down Syndrome when she was four months pregnant, and she told the Associated Press in May that she never considered ending the pregnancy. “We’ve both been very vocal about being pro-life,” she said in the AP interview. “We understand that every innocent life has wonderful potential.” Palin also said of her son, whose name is Trig Paxon Van Palin, “I’m looking at him right now, and I see perfection. Yeah, he has an extra chromosome. I keep thinking, in our world, what is normal and what is perfect?”

In November of 2006, the Anchorage Daily News described Palin’s positions on social issues in a story wrapping up the governor’s race:

“A significant part of Palin’s base of support lies among social and Christian conservatives. Her positions on social issues emerged slowly during the campaign: on abortion (should be banned for anything other than saving the life of the mother), stem cell research (opposed), physician-assisted suicide (opposed), creationism (should be discussed in schools), state health benefits for same-sex partners (opposed, and supports a constitutional amendment to bar them).”

And in October of 2006, the Anchorage Daily News reported that Palin said the following about creationism at a debate:

“Teach both. You know, don’t be afraid of information….Healthy debate is so important and it’s so valuable in our schools. I am a proponent of teaching both. And you know, I say this too as the daughter of a science teacher. Growing up with being so privileged and blessed to be given a lot of information on, on both sides of the subject — creationism and evolution. It’s been a healthy foundation for me. But don’t be afraid of information and let kids debate both sides.”

Palin identifies herself as a Christian; she headed her high school’s Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

From Michelle Malkin:

Palin Derangement Syndrome

By Michelle Malkin • August 31, 2008 10:02 AM

Of all the moronic attacks on Sarah Palin, and they are piling up, this has got to be one of the lowest of the low.

And it’s brought to you by the morbid ghouls who would rather you abort your unborn children than bring them into the world and increase the planet’s carbon footprint. Left-wing definition of “proper pre-natal care:” A bloody trip to Planned Parenthood.

Have mercy upon them. (More Malkin)

  1. What would your thoughts be if her 5th daughter, the one with downsyndrum, was actual her oldest daughters daughter.

  2. Hmmm Thomas Paine,

    Are you,
“Basically a loon at Kos believes that Sarah Palin’s fifth child was actually born to Palin’s high school daughter and the Governor’s just covering for her.

It’s just one lone nut blogging at Kos, you might point out. Barely even worth a post. And that’s what I thought until I looked at the results of the poll at the bottom:”

So, I am guessing that you have just revealed the strategy of the left to cut down and dirty politic the woman. That sounds about right you guys got a lot of practice punching away at Hillary for six months.

Your insane thought here will only lead to reveal the true Obama and his minions.

  3. I am not an Obama supporter, and its been big news all day. I think it was the number one story on Digg.com, and was mentioned on nearly every conservative blog all day. Maybe you weren’t paying attention and think i am telling you some secret bit of information…
The fact is, would it help or hurt your cause? It’s not really that horrible, and very defensible. I would almost think it would get the conservative right even more behind her… and if its not true, it helps the right even more. Either way the story was a win for your side… unless of course she has to get off the ticket because of it, which seems unlikely at this point.

  4. Palin is the anti-feminist woman. She is a breath of fresh air and no doubt will be scorned by the likes of Pelosi, Boxer, and Feinstein as too traditional and a step backward for women. I contend she is a giant step forward after 40 years of feminism destroying the American woman.

About the baby rumor: Teenagers rarely give birth to down syndrome babies, but the risk to older mothers is significant.

  5. peak9,

Thank you for your comment. This is the breath of fresh air I have been waiting for. The baby rumor has been debunked and just shows the desperation of the left. Sarah Palin is the real deal.

    Thomas Paine,

Getting caught up in rumors just because the MSM or the leftist blogs start them is not how I live my life. They are showing their true colors with is fictitious smear.

What is more interesting and revealing is the fact that the Dems will stoop to such depths to take down their opponents because they have no “depth” of their own. The Dems have no substance, no core beliefs, no solutions, no back bone, no ideas, just rumors and slander.

They are pathetic,; that is what we should get out of this non-story!

    God Bless,
    riggword

  6. maybe its a non-story, or maybe it is true, only time will tell.

  7. The problem T.P is like all Dem accusations there is no evidence for their insinuations.

There is however a ton of evidence against their smear. Usually a lie will continue even after the charge is proven false. But in this case the Dems are making themselves look bad already.

This is the crazy Kos nutheads who make the Dems look bad. Or should I say make the Dems look like who they really are; a bunch of lefties trying to find a cause while slandering as many Republicans as they can on the way.

Michael Moore would be proud of the person who started this rumor.

If you want more truth on the subject check out my latest post,

  8. When Ms. Palin was first recommended to Sen. McCain, it is reported: he tilted his head back slightly, his eyes gazed upward as in deep thought and said…..

    OK….I’ll – ask – ‘er
    (Al – as – ka)

    hahahahahahahaha :)

I thought I’d try that one out!

    What do ya’ think?

  9. Al…ask…er!

    Hmmm, ……

    Yeah, I get it.

You do have a sense of humor after all.

    Nice Job timglass

  10. I try!

  11. With your permission,

I will try it out on a few unsuspecting friends.

I think my wife will like it.

    God Bless

  12. please….be my guest!

  13. My take on “PALIN”. who is certainly a conservative and who loves God.

    Proverbs 31 = PALIN? I think so!

When we examine THE PROVERBS 31 WOMEN, we do not find the stereotypical housewife occupied with dirty dishes and laundry, her daily life dictated by the demands of her husband and her children. Nor do we find a hardened, overly ambitious career woman who leaves her family to fend for itself.
    PALIN? I think so!
What we find is a strong, dignified, multitalented, caring woman who is an individual.
    PALIN? I think so!
She is her husband’s partner, and she is completely trusted with the responsibility for their lands, property and goods.
    PALIN? I think so!
She has the business skills to buy and sell in the market, along with the heartfelt sensitivity and compassion to care for and fulfill the needs of people who are less fortunate. Cheerfully and energetically she tackles the challenges each day brings.
    PALIN? I think so!
Her husband and children love and respect her ….she is kind, generous and has a caring nature. But with all her responsibilities, first and foremost, she looks to God. Her primary concern is God’s will in her life. She is a woman after God’s own heart.
    PALIN? I think so!
The characteristics of the PROVERBS 31 WOMEN are remarkable….LOOK AT THEM… PALIN? I think so!

“A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies.” A strong, capable woman with strong convictions.
    PALIN? I think so!

“Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value.”
Her industriousness adds to the family income.
    PALIN? I think so!

“She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life.” This woman does not do right only when it is convenient and profitable. Her actions are not based on how she is treated by others or by what others think. Her character is steady. She is reliable and dependable.
    PALIN? I think so!

“She selects wool and flax and works with eager hands.” This woman enjoys working so much that she plans ahead for what she needs in order to accomplish her responsibilities.
    PALIN? I think so!

“She is like the merchant ships, bringing her food from afar.” The trait not to settle for the mediocre is portrayed by a woman who goes the extra mile for quality items.
    PALIN? I think so!

“She gets up while it is still dark; she provides food for her family and portions for her servant girls.” She understands that good managers have a responsibility to take care of those under their authority. That is one of her to p priorities.
    PALIN? I think so!

“She considers a field and buys it; out of her earnings she plants a vineyard.” She does not act on a whim, but logically analyzes a situation before making a decision. Her goals are not only short term — she envisions the long-range benefits of her decisions.
    PALIN? I think so!

“She sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks.” We get a picture of a woman who vigorously goes about her duties. She keeps herself healthy and strong by proper health practices — good diet, adequate rest and exercise. Many people depend on her.
    PALIN? I think so!

“She sees that her trading is profitable, and her lamp does not go out at night.” She knows that her merchandise is good and takes pride in doing a good job. Night or day, no one worries that her responsibilities are not taken care of.
    PALIN? I think so!

“In her hand she holds the distaff and grasps the spindle with her fingers.” The example she sets is one of skill and industriousness. Whether this woman would be a computer programmer, a concert pianist, a mother or Vice President she develops her talents and hones her skills through education and diligent application.
    PALIN? I think so!

“She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy.” Although it’s good to donate to needy causes, this means far more than writing a check. This woman shows personal concern. She visits the sick, comforts the lonely and depressed, and delivers food to those in need.
    PALIN? I think so!

“When it snows, she has no fear for her household; for all of them are clothed in scarlet.” Providing clothing for the family is one of her responsibilities. She takes this seriously, and plans ahead. She does not practice crisis management.
    PALIN? I think so!

“She makes coverings for her bed; she is clothed in fine linen and purple.” This woman has high standards and dresses properly for the occasion.
    PALIN? I think so!

“Her husband is respected at the city gate, where he takes his seat among the elders of the land.” This man does not have to spend half his time trying to straighten out problems at home, and his success in the social world comes partly from her support, just as her success comes partly from his support. The original woman of Proverbs 31 couldn’t phone her husband for his opinion on matters. She made many of the day-to-day decisions about their property and goods. He trusted her to manage the estate efficiently.
    PALIN? I think so!

“She makes linen garments and sells them, and supplies the merchants with sashes.” This woman runs a business from her home. Her efforts and industry add to the family income.
    PALIN? I think so!

“Strength and honor are her clothing; she shall rejoice in time to come” (NKJV). Not only does this woman benefit each day from her wise and diligent actions, long-term lifetime benefits and rewards lie in store for her.
    PALIN? I think so!

“She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue.” This woman is well read and has the facts. She knows what she is talking about. Whether about her job, her personal values or her opinion on world events, she is able to express herself intelligently, tactfully and diplomatically. People come to her for good advice.
    PALIN? I think so!

“She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness.” She is an organized, energetic person who carries out her responsibilities.
    PALIN? I think so!

“Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her.” This woman is not a doormat, slavishly trying to appease and please her family, no matter how unreasonable their demands. She is honored in her home.
    PALIN? I think so!

“Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.” High praise for this extraordinary woman — a role model for women of all time.
    PALIN? I think so!

“Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.” Here is the key to this woman’s effectiveness. Her priorities are determined by God’s will, not her own. She is concerned about what God thinks, rather than with what other people think. Physical beauty and clever conversation are admirable qualities. But if a woman’s beauty and charm are the extent of her virtues, what happens when time and the trials of life take their toll? This woman does not depend on beauty and charm for her success. She recognizes her need for God.
    PALIN? I think so!

“Give her the reward she has earned, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.” This woman is actively doing, not merely talking. She does not boast about her plans for the future or her successes of the past. They are obvious.
    PALIN? I THINK SO!!!

    MCCAIN PALIN 2008

  14. Niki,

Thank you so much for your comments.
You have hit the essence of what I was trying to say.

In fact I think you made it more clear with your precise exposition of Sarah Palin as a Proverbs 31 Woman.

    God Bless you,
keep coming back, I enjoy your insight.

  15. I never said you were an Obama hater…

    Blessings & Peace,

    Selena

  16. Sorry Selena,

I didn’t mean to lump you in on that comment.

It is just that the comments I have received lately and then seeing that post…it got to me.

I thought I could trust and I gave more room than I should have.

Now I am being threatened by some kinda compliant process I have never heard of.

I know where you’re heart is.

I now know where a couple of other people are coming from.

It makes it hard to comment on this due to the threat of possible complaints to some blog gestapo. I guess I’ll just have to take that chance.

So, I have probably already said too much. I will tell you that from now on I will be very careful about who I let comment here. I may just have to post a blog on this subject.

    God Bless as well,
    riggword.
