Growing up as the son of a Crooked Used Car Salesman, I learned many life lessons selling cars for my dad. I owe my ability to spot a shyster to my father. For this I want to thank him posthumously. I will continue to add posts to this section with insight into my insights about life.
I have been voting in the presidential elections since 1972 and in 2002 I finally voted for the winner (thanks to growing up with a used car salesman I was able to spot a crooked used car salesman in Bill Clinton. I switched my party allegiance in 1992). In 1972 my guy, George McGovern, only got 37.5% of the popular vote. Yes I was one of the original 18-year-old voters who went for the liberal anti war guy. I only hope that this formula is repeated this year and Obama the anti-war liberal guy loses big. In 1980 I was convinced that if Reagon won we would all be annihilated by the bomb; my guy Ed Clark got 1%. By the time I reached out to fling myself up onto the Reagon wagon…..it was too late; he was long gone, leaving me in the dust again looking through the clouds to try and find a wagon I could jump onto. Then I won with Bush twice.
Now we have a crooked used car salesman, Bill Clinton, hocking a Crooked polished politician in Barack Obama. I know there are young first time voters ogling over Obama. Look at those inflated tires and the paint job, no need to check under the hood, I like the style and the way I will look once I have him in my driveway. (riggword)

Well, the moonbats are all atwitter about the turnout of “thousands” for a purported anti-war march into downtown Denver tonight.
What it really was was 50 anti-war diehards glomming onto the after-concert crowd that attended the free Rage Against the Machine performance. 50 anti-war diehards plus lots of people taking a sight-seeing walk on a beautiful Colorado night.
I happened to like his speech a lot. Considering the things he said after Obama not too long ago, he did pretty well to try to reunite the party once again.
