McCain Gets America:

McCain gets loud welcome at Sturgis bike rally:

I’ll take the roar of 50,000 Harleys any day, he says in jab aimed at Obama

(McCain is Hitting it Hard and HItting Home Runs with Americans! riggword)

From MSNBC:

STURGIS, S.D. – Thousands of motorcyclists greeted Republican presidential candidate John McCain with an approving roar Monday as he sought blue-collar and heartland support by visiting a giant motorcycle rally.

“As you may know, not long ago a couple hundred thousand Berliners made a lot of noise for my opponent. I’ll take the roar of 50,000 Harleys any day,” McCain said, referring to Democrat Barack Obama’s recent visit to the German capital.

Cindy Knows America

She is the real deal, riggword

From Yahoo News

Actor Kiefer Sutherland, left, talks to Cindy McCain, wife of Republican presidential candidate Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., before the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Pennsylvania 500 auto race in Long Pond, Pa., Sunday, Aug. 3, 2008.

John and Cindy McCain’s Daughter, Megan McCain, gets it

Anna, a riggword reader, asks,

“Ok, I have to ask, does anyone know anything about McCain’s plane? I would really like to see if he is arrogant at all too.”

So, Anna this video is for you. This is where John McCain sits in his plane;

with his family and staff.

If you look real close you can see the name on the plane is “JetBlue”

From People Magazine:

Cindy McCain at NASCAR Event: “I’m a Lead Foot”

“I’m not going to tell you,” she told PEOPLE. “I don’t want my husband to know, primarily.”

The wife of Republican presidential candidate John McCain added with a laugh that her speeding habit is not much of a secret back home in Arizona. “There are a few highway patrolmen around Phoenix who know me pretty well,” said McCain, 54, a trained racecar driver, who was sporting white Lucky Brand jeans and Chanel ballet flats. “Absolutely, I am a lead foot.” (More)

Who compared Obama to Paris Hilton first?

By Michelle Malkin • August 4, 2008 06:15 PM

Via a Newsbusters 2005 flashback, D’oh-bama strikes again:

“Andy Warhol said we all get our 15 minutes of fame,” says Barack Obama. “I’ve already had an hour and a half. I mean, I’m so overexposed, I’m making Paris Hilton look like a recluse.”

So, not only is he afraid of himself, he’s sick of himself, too!

Join the club, sweetie. (Malkin)

Obama’s energy policy: Turn out the lights and pray for wind

Perhaps the Barack Obama campaign needs the services of a mathematician, but it doesn’t take differential calculus to determine that his energy policy doesn’t add up. Politico reports on Obama’s speech in Lansing, which officially served as the re-launch of his efforts to defuse public anger over Congressional inaction on domestic energy production. Obama wants to both transfer American transportation from oil to electricity and then cut electrical production as well:

The three main components of Obama’s plan are:

— Get 1 million 150 mile-per-gallon plug-in hybrids on U.S. roads within six years.

— Require that 10 percent of U.S. energy comes from renewable sources by the end of his first term – more than double the current level.

—Reduce U.S. demand for electricity 15 percent by 2020.

Well, far be it from me to point out the obvious, but the more cars we have that use “plug-in hybrids”, the more demand for electricity will increase. Apparently, this didn’t catch the attention of the Harvard-educated candidate, but it should catch the attention of the voting public. Transferring the burden of transportation from gasoline to electricity will vastly increase the need for more generating stations. (Hotair)

Amen to someone finally saying the obvious about electric plug-ins,

Obama and his minions think electricity grows on trees,

Ops, there I go with bio-fuels, sorry

  1. That is interesting about Obama’s energy plan… Definitely doesn’t add up…

So what IS the answer to the worlds energy usage ?

  2. Anna,

Your smile brightens up my blog, thank you.

The answer to all of the worlds problems is Jesus of course.

On a worldly level, this too has a simple answer as well, but I am afraid that simple stating the answer may turn you off to following up on your longterm education of what I believe America is about.

But I’ll give it a shot for now if for no other reason than I like the challenge and I like your responses

Just like Jesus is the answer for the worlds problems, including spiritual, financial, and social,

Likewise, American values and capitalist free markets are the answer to the worldly problems we face; including energy. This is the short answer for a big problem. If you would go back and read the last fifty years of National Review you may learn a bit about what I am saying here. Or you could listen to Rush Limbaugh for six months and get the idea or you could read my blog for a while and hopefully I will be able to shed light.

So, Anna what did you think about McCain’s Daughter’s video and his JetBlue plane?

  3. It is great to see something about McCain. I am getting more and more confident in his prospects. I was not too confident a few months ago. Hopefully, he will not fall off a stage like Bob Dole.

Rigg, I cannot keep up with all your outstanding posts. You are outwriting my available time to read. Keep it up though.

  4. I know Bob Dole and believe me McCain is no Bob Dole!

Hey, thanks for the comments peak9,

It is time to start praising McCain.

I think the pendulum is beginning to swing back from the aberration of its left swing. As usual in our presidential elections people go back to their conservative conscience as we get closer to the election. It will again be a tight race; we must get out the conservative and Christian vote.

It is time to win the fence sitting Christians to vote for McCain.

I know my writing gets “Long-Winded” as Selena would say. There is just so much stuff inside that needs to get out. I have always been an obsessed writer.

It is the beast within that has to get out.

If you keep up with any of my posts I am thankful.

    God Bless,

  5. I want to say thank you that you have made your
web site very good to visit and also very helpful for many people.

  6. mrthawatch,

Thanks for visiting and thanks for your comment.
I hope you return often and share some of your thoughts.

I’ll be checking out your blog today,
    God Bless,
