Obama, Vanities of Vanities:

And now Katie Couric, Charles Gibson and Brian Williams

are following their Messiah like sheep.

“ Vanity of vanities, all is vanity.”

Barack Obama’s Butterfly Effect

July 20, 2008 4:45 PM

Tahman Bradley

Today on CBS’s Face the Nation, Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., in Afghanistan, told the paparazzi-pursued correspondent Lara Logan that “the objective of this trip was to have substantive discussions with people like President Karzai or Prime Minister Maliki or President Sarkozy or others who I expect to be dealing with over the next eight to 10 years. (More)

Obama assumes arrogantly that he is the shoe-in for the Presidency.

He is the most arrogant least qualified person to run for the Presidency since I have been alive (50 years). He will fall. He will be unveiled. He will be brought to reality. Hopefully before he takes our country down the path of arrogance with him.

For in the multitude of dreams and many words there is also vanity.

But fear God.

Obama’s Magical Mystical World Tour

They Follow like Sheep; Their Shephard

“All we like sheep have gone astray;

We have turned, every one, to his own way;

And the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.”

What will Mr. Arrogance, Talk to Ahmadinejad say about this?

From Hugh Hewitt:

Posted by: Hugh Hewitt at 2:44 AM Lots of hand-wringing on the right over the dispatch of a State department senior official, William Burns, to meet with senior Iranian officials in Geneva. Seems like a necessary “last chance” offer to me, and Iran has apparently rejected it:

A U.S. decision to bend policy and sit down with Iran at nuclear talks fizzled Saturday, with Iran stonewalling Washington and five other world powers on their call to freeze uranium enrichment. In response, the six gave Iran two weeks to respond to their demand, setting the stage for a new round of U.N. sanctions.

Iran’s refusal to consider suspending enrichment was an indirect slap at the United States, which had sent Undersecretary of State William Burns to the talks in hopes the first-time American presence would encourage Tehran into making concessions.

Officials and diplomats refused to characterize the timeframe as an ultimatum, but it appeared clear that Iran now has a de-facto deadline to show flexibility.

The Bush Administration has done everything a superpower can do except use military action. Iran’s mullahs come to the conclusion that the U.S. and Israel either will not or cannot stop their nuclear ambitions. If strikes are launched against the mullahs’ nuclear facilities, the U.S. will have tried every avenue to stop the program without resort to bombing. but Iran is an outlaw regime and it does not care a bit what the world demands of it.

  1. “He is the most arrogant least qualified person to run for the Presidency since I have been alive (50 years)”

I can second that. Moreover, he is the man with an ego big enough to make him think that writing two autobiographies before the age of 45 was somehow appropriate.

  2. I think we should relieve him of the burden of the Presidency so that he can write more about himself.

    Thanks for your comment totaltransformation.

By the way what’s with the name totaltransformation?

    Are you?

  3. You guys are funny!

You see it as ARROGANCE… I see it as confidence and he is SELLING himself. ALL people running for president talk like that. It’s annoying, but it is what they do! I think because you don’t like him or what he stands for you notice it more then you would the one you like. LOL

  4. Confidence requires humility. Arrogance shows none.

  5. “You see it as ARROGANCE… I see it as confidence and he is SELLING himself. ALL people running for president talk like that.”

Obama wrote BOTH of his autobiographies long before he was running for office.

“It’s annoying, but it is what they do!”

Who is this they? Are they the same “they” that Obama’s propaganda claims he is somehow different from? After all he has long touted himself as the nontraditional candidate who doesn’t do…well all the things he has done thus far.

“I think because you don’t like him or what he stands for you notice it more then you would the one you like. LOL”

There are many politicians I don’t agree with that I like. Joe Lieberman and Ted Kennedy come to mind. While I disagree with Obama, that isn’t grounds enough to dislike him. I dislike him because he sells himself as something that he is not. His ego is above and beyond anyone we have seen run for president in the last century. Moreover, his messianic following and the hagiographic coverage from the media create a perfect confluence of ego and misrepresentation. ;-)

    [taltransformation thanks for your comment,
It is not a matter of not liking Obama personally, it is a matter of loving this country and all that it has stood for for over 200 years. The American dream, American excellence is being challenged by this man. His arrogance is so developed that he deeply believes that he can save the world from America. He truly believes that he is so exceptional that his friendly face and one world talk will be infectious and an aphrodisiac to the likes of Amadinejad and Bin Laden. So, I have no personal dislike or like for Obama. I have a deep rooted love for America and our place in the world and world history. We have been the most powerful country in the world to not suppress our enemies. We have lifted the standard of living for the world not just America. Obama wants to change that. He wants to bring America in line with Europe. Europe is a mess. America is the only light left for the suppressed, downtrodden, and persecuted people of the world. Obama’s arrogance is dangerous. That is the point.

Obama has the right to try to ascend to power. America gives all of us the opportunity to grow and gain affluence; that is the beauty. It is the electorate that I am disappointed in. Too many Americans have drifted into pop culture and brand identification. Obama is the brand, his plane reveals that his brand is more important than the American patriotism.

    Thank you for your comment,
    God Bless

  6. I guess I just haven’t seen what you guys have seen… I have seen him be humble.. Maybe it is a matter of view point.

I do know that I am a more objective person then most… that sounds arrogant, huh? But it’s true. I am not one to instantly announce someone as guilty, no matter what crime they are accused of. I must SEE evidence. I didn’t think OJ was guilty in the beginning. LOL ;)

And TT, you like TED KENNEDY??? That says a lot to me. I find that man to be rather arrogant also. Have you not watched presidential speeches and seen him in the audience rolling his eyes and hmming and hawing???? Miss Hillary is guilty of that as well. I think it is extreme arrogance and lack of respect. Even if I disagree with someone when they are speaking, I refuse to be THAT disrespectful.

  7. Hello Anna,

It is interesting that you can spot Ted Kennedy’s arrogance and Hillaries arrogance, but somehow miss Obama’s.

Keep searching for the truth and your eyes will be opened. A truely objective person would do some research to find the truth.

    An Obama “Did you Know”
that Barack Hussein Obama will be protected by the well known terrorist group Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, during his visit to Palestine, has now been confirmed by two different sources, and by the fact that the Obama campaign has officially chosen to refuse questions regarding this matter.

JERUSALEM – Members of the most active West Bank terror organization are set to serve in security forces being deployed to protect Sen. Barack Obama during his trip to the West Bank tomorrow, WND has learned.

    Read the whole article at:

Check out this news, research think and come up with an objective opinion.

That’s all we ask of all of our electorate.

American’s need to know the truth.
Be objective and find the truth about Obama.

    God Bless

  8. Riggworld, I say this respectfully… I really do… and to all others.. What concerns me is the sources in which you use to “educate” yourself. I would much rather find some less opinionated sources… I promise, I will do just that.

I already said that I probably won’t vote at all…. I can’t in good conscience vote for either one.

I never said I thought Obama was the “ONE”. LOL!

I do not think it is objective to educate myself from someone who has upside down pics of Obama on their page. (Michelle Mahlin) And I have never heard of these news sources… it is very concerning to me.

Riggworld, as for my notice of Ted Kennedy, and Hillary, I have been watching them for many more years then I have Obama.

  9. Riggword, sorry I spelled your name riggworld… ugh

  10. Anna,

YOu are still around great! Misspealling iz note won of mie peaves. In fact I am a notorisu mispeler.

So, what resources to you trust?

I would encourage you to check out Obama’s official site, but he has changed virtually all of his positions on his site over the last 6 months to appear more in the center. All I can do is ask that you believe me on that one.

I have posted his videos with his actual words previously. I will continue to post his words as we move into the election. You can archive back and see actual footage of Obama saying…things that don’t add up. (being polite).

Many of my posts quote Main Stream Media, although I have never used them as a gage of truth and objectivity.

So, who do you trust for objective news?

  11. To be honest, I haven’t looked that hard… I tend to watch CBS, NBC, ABC, and FOX (on occassion). NONE of which I trust whole heartedly…

Why don’t you tell me who is the most OBJECTIVE news source out there? LOL

It seems everyone has an opinion these days. Isn’t the point of journalism to be objective?? At least that is what I was taught in High school journalism….

Oh and thanks for saying I speak for myself very well. I am not the most educated, but I am passionate about what I believe in. :)

  12. Hello Anna,

I am afraid that our old high school definition of journalism is obsolete.

Today journalist want to make the news. They all want to be like Woodward and Berstein and break the big one.

Right now unfortunately most of the main stream media is creating a hero out of Obama. They are building him up beyond his capabilities. They are defending all of his lies and changes of rhetoric.

All you have to do is watch what a love feast is going on over seas. No presidential candidate has ever been given this type of treatment by the press. They are creating the myth and building him up so that they can feel good about their role in electing the first African American President.

The journalists of today are all about themselves and making their own news in hopes of fame.
It’s a sad state of affairs.

The good news is that The MSM papers and TV are loosing readership and viewers. The New York Times reported an 82% drop in profits. Their circulation is dropping swiftly.

“That announcement came as the company reported that second-quarter profits fell 82 per cent to $21m, or 15 cents per share, compared with the same period a year ago, when it”

These “news” agencies are losing their guidance exactly because they have stopped reporting the truth.

I warned you at the beginning that I was long-winded.
    God bless,

Watch for tomorrows post, “Obama, Would he or Wouldn’t He?” I will site main stream news media so you can read without feeling like you are being feed right wing propaganda.

  13. Hey riggword,

thanks for being nice to me! :)

I do find all this stuff interesting… or else I wouldn’t keep coming back and reading. your blog is not all that bad in the “right wing propaganda” stuff…. :)

[thanks Anna, I admire your willingness to at least check out the information and decern the facts. God requires discernment from his children. God Bless]
