Of course they are fired up:
It is always easier to get fired up and exited about revolution then it is to get fired up about retaining the status quo. Revolution is always more exciting for the young and the outsiders. Revolution is romantic and alluring to the empty and dejected. Revolution and change are the opiate of those who feel left out. The people who are excited and energetic for Obama have felt discarded, dejected, and left out of the American main stream. They are now full of hope that Obama will be their savior and bring justice to there imagined suppressors. It is easier to get fired up about change but it is the law of inertia that gives power to the status quo.
Status Quo is boring:
McCain represents the status quo and the reality is that we have it pretty good in this country. America has been the best place to live and the place others die to get into. The status quo may not be exciting but it is the best system so far and the best opportunity for living a joyful life for the majority of people. Generally people in America are satisfied with their lives. The MSM and the Democrat machine thrive on spreading bad news and trying to make people feel miserable. The status quo is that people are generally happy. The change revolutionary says, “NO your not, you don’t even know how unhappy you are, I’ll tell you how unhappy you are and then you will know how happy I can make you”. We need to keep the faith and hold onto what has worked for over two hundred years. We need to give our children and grandchildren the same opportunities we have been blessed with.

The article that got me all fired up
Poll: McCain’s backers less fired up than Obama’s
By ALAN FRAM, Associated Press Writer
WASHINGTON (AP) — John McCain is facing an excitement deficit.
While overall interest in the presidential campaign has swelled since last fall, backers of Barack Obama are more fired up and express more loyalty to their candidate than McCain’s do, a poll by The Associated Press and Yahoo News showed Friday. In addition, individual groups backing Obama — African-Americans, Democrats and liberals — are more enthusiastic than whites, Republicans and conservatives, who are more aligned with McCain, the GOP senator from Arizona. Climate Change or No Change?
I am for change when it comes to the Global Warming Hoax!
Al Gore a hypocrite; Really who’d a thunk?
From Michelle Malkin:
Limousine liberal video of the day: Gore and his gas-guzzling fans exposed!; Update: What global warming consensus?
Update: Top news this morning…”The American Physical Society, an organization representing nearly 50,000 physicists, has reversed its stance on climate change and is now proclaiming that many of its members disbelieve in human-induced global warming. The APS is also sponsoring public debate on the validity of global warming science. The leadership of the society had previously called the evidence for global warming ‘incontrovertible.’” (More)
You’re going to love this video from Americans for Prosperity, whose staff caught eco-hypocrisy on full display at Al Gore’s big energy sermon in Washington, D.C. earlier today.
Ed Frank writes: “We’re back from Al Gore’s big global warming speech, and boy did we have a great time! We had a dedicated band of taxpayer advocates out in force, pointing out the high economic cost of global warming alarmism – starting with $8 a gallon gasoline. Of course, we saw plenty of hypocrisy — especially the fact that Gore didn’t ride his bike or take public transporation to the event. He didn’t even take his Prius! Instead, he brought a fleet of two Lincoln Town Cars and a Chevy Suburban SUV! Even worse, the driver of the Town Car that eventually whisked away Gore’s wife and daughter left the engine idling and the AC cranking for 20 minutes before they finally left!”
Enjoy the spectacle and be sure to watch the very end:
Obama is a change to something else person! Hope can not feed us! Obama is a lier to his own supporters! http://goodtimepolitics.com/2008/07/18/obama-look-alike-act-alike-sound-alike/

I agree with Phil Gramm that there is too much media-stoked whining about the economy. With the exception of the price of gas, our economy is humming along just fine. The unemployment rate and job creation numbers are within the historical range, and interest rates are low. All the grumbling is fueled by media stories to prepare the way for the Chosen Candidate (whose middle name cannot be mentioned) to take the White House. Bho’s message that the system is broken and only he can fix it resonates with this negative mood. McCain needs to remind voters that America is strong and our system works. He should to take up the mantel of Reagan’s “morning for America” upbeat vision for continued prosperity.

Thanks for your comments,
goodtimepolitics and Juju53,
Isn’t it interesting that the worst thing “They” can say is that unemployment is at 5%. That’s normal; it doesn’t get better than 5% when you realize that people transition all the time. Europe hovers around 10% unemployment and nobody over here complains.
And gasoline didn’t really start to climb until the Dems took over congress in 2006. I have a chart on my post “Dems Up Gasoline Up”
Thanks again

Al Gore cannot even live the life he wants to force on the rest of us. He is a total fraud.

Thanks for your Comment peak9
There seems to be an abundance of frauds in leadership roles in America. And a new one running around Europe with all of those eating up fraud reporters.
We have dumbed ourselves down.
We are like the three monkeys,
See no Fraud, Hear no Fraud, Speak…….?
Oh well two out of three anyway.
God Bless
