Obama is a Man of Change, a Triple Lundy Man;
Why Not Wait and See Where He Lands?
Since Obama has yet to define himself on several key issues that are High Values for Americans, then why not wait until he finally decides what he believes in? Let’s give him some more time in the Senate to define what his core values and beliefs are. After all why should we expect a man of 47 years old who graduated from Harvard and has been a Senator to know what he really thinks? He needs more time to develop and grow; even Oprah and Dr. Phil know that he just needs more time to find himself and his core beliefs. So I say let’s give him that needed time. Obama can come back when he grows up, we’ll wait to see who he really is. Let’s give him until say 2056.
Why not Wait until he decides what he thinks about abortion?
Why not Wait until he decides who his pastor is?
Why not Wait until he decides what he will do in Iraq?
Why not Wait until he decides how high he will raise taxes?
Why not Wait until he decides what to do on Public financing?
Why not Wait until he decides what he will do about Illegal immigration?
Why not Wait until he decides what he thinks about Decriminalization of marijuana?
Why not Wait until he decides on what to do with Special interests?
Why not Wait until he decides where he was born?
Why not Wait until he decides if Tony Rezko, Bill Ayers, Reverend Phleger, are his friends?
Why not wait until he decides if he should pull his mother out from under the bus?
Why not wait until Michelle Obama decides wheather she is proud of America or Not?
Why not wait and see if he or Tony Rezko mows the strip of land between their houses?
Why not wait until Obama can figure out “What went wrong in the Grove Parc Plaza housing debacle?
Why not wait to see if he will or won’t talk to Ahmadinejad?
Why not wait…….?
Why not wait until the election is over and he can go back to Illinois and find himself?
Who His Pastor is?
Posted by: Hugh Hewitt at 11:50 PM The Washington Post has a lengthy story on Obama’s current account of his faith journey.
The story, strangely, leaves unexamined the role of Pastor Wright in Obama’s spiritual journey. How can a story allegedly about Obama’s religious beliefs not discuss in depth the influence of Jeremiah Wright, which is detailed in Obama’s memoir, Dreams of My Father?
It cannot, of course, and it is not a serious story as a result. It is a certain that Obama wants to airbrush Pastor Wright and his views from the candidate’s biography, but ought the nation’s leading paper cooperate in the exercise?
UPDATE: David Mark and Kenneth Vogel have a story at Politico.com today on Obama’s first memoir.

CNN MORE IN THE TANK THAN EVER
WHEN WILL WE STOP WATCHING?
The “C” in CNN stands for clueless
Take a look at the man on the left in this photo from CPAC 2007:
He is Col. George Everett “Bud” Day, the nation’s most highly decorated soldier since General Douglas MacArthur. It was a thrill to meet this genuine American hero in person.
Medal of Honor citation
Rank and organization: Colonel (then Major), U.S. Air Force, Forward Air Controller Pilot of an F-100 aircraft. Place and date: North Vietnam, 26 August 1967. Entered service at: Sioux City, Iowa. Born: 24 February 1925, Sioux City, Iowa. Citation: On 26 August 1967, Col. Day was forced to eject from his aircraft over North Vietnam when it was hit by ground fire. His right arm was broken in 3 places, and his left knee was badly sprained. He was immediately captured by hostile forces and taken to a prison camp where he was interrogated and severely tortured.
Make sure you click on all those links and then be sure to leave the links in the comments section of this clueless CNN piece about Col. Day.
Why? Because you wouldn’t know about Col. Day’s extraordinary heroism if you only got your news from CNN, which falsely states in a reductionist hit job on Day: “McCain Truth Squad defender was Swift Boat Vet member.”
Greyhawk at Mudville Gazette and Scott Johnson at Power Line (more here) set the record straight.
CNN owes a correction and an apology for its ignorance, disrespect, and the warped propaganda it disseminated about Col. Day.
The Obamedia have no shame. (Malkin)

Here’s Powerline’s take on the WaPo story about B-Ho’s faith.
http://www.powerlineblog.com/
The Washington Post has a front-page story about Barack Obama’s religious faith. It goes on for 20 paragraphs without ever mentioning Trinity Church and its long-time pastor Jeremiah Wright. This doesn’t mean that Post reporter Jonathan Weisman and his editors at the Post are biased in favor of Obama. They probably just didn’t think that the church Obama attended for two decades (until earlier this year), and the minister who was Obama’s spiritual mentor, had any relevance to a story about his religious faith.
The Post’s story covers with great seriousness Obama’s recent “highly personal account of his spiritual journey” and how he “let Jesus Christ into [his] life.” The true nature of Obama’s spiritual journey (if any) is a bit different from the one he presents and the Post takes at face value. It is undisputed that Obama was a non-believer until the latter half of the 1980s. After that, it is undisputed that Jeremiah Wright (irrelevant though he may be) inspired Obama to join his church. Joining that church was a smart political move, given its influence in the community where Obama had set up shop as a community organizer.
From this point on, there are two possibilities. First, Obama may have joined Wright’s church, and remained in it, for purely pragmatic political reasons. In this scenario, Obama is still a non-believer, and the story of his “spiritual journey” is an invention. Second, Obama may actually have been a genuine convert to the version of Christianity preached at Wright’s church. In this scenario, Obama embraced black liberation theology and had a spiritual journey, though not quite the one he would like voters to imagine. Either way, Obama is distorting his religious views, either by pretending that he is a believer or by obscuring the radical nature of his religious beliefs.
On its face, it seems audacious for someone who has been revealed as the follower of a fanatical, hate-mongering minister to be touting his religious faith. But with powerful spin machines like the Washington Post to cover for him, Obama isn’t really being all that audacious as he reinvents himself on yet another front.

That’s why CNN stands for Communist News Network.

Juju53,
What do you think about Obama’s plane adventure.
Wouldn’t it be like him to have planned out the whole thing, so that he can appear courageous and tough in a crisis?
Just a fun thought.

Did he look tough? When he said he would get into trouble with his wife for being late, I thought he sounded henpecked!

Hello Juju53,
I didn’t see the video.
What was it like. I just can’t watch this guy.
In my Christian walk I have become less able to watch, listen to, or be around people who are so stuck in the world and on themselves.
It just feels uncomfortable. Like walking into the wrong bar in a strange town to use the phone when you have car problems. I just feel like I need a shower after I see Obama.
I did hear his words, he was trying to act cool and calm. “Ya know when the pilot says something is wrong you..ah..you…put on your seat belt.”
It’s like he is always pausing and searching for the right sound bite, too bad he still gets it wrong most of the time.
thanks for stopping in. What a debate going on over at Savage hey!
Later,
riggword
