Obama Lies Because He Can:

Our society has made lying normal. Everyday lying is acceptable, at work, at home, at play, and definitely in politics. Obama is the master at lying. He went to a church for twenty years and said he did not listen. He took shady deals from his friend Tony Rezko and said he barley new him, he worked closely with Bill Ayers and denounced his affiliation. the list goes on and on. First Public Funds is the best thing for America, then once he has too much money he says the system is broken. He creates a seal that depicts him as already elected and the ruler of America, then after many complaints he removes it and says that it was only a one time deal. Lies upon lies upon lies.

Why Not; Everybody Lies:

Lying has become a part of the American culture. Oprah lies, Bill Clinton lies, even Dan Rather lies. We lie about our looks when we use too much makeup or steroids. We lie about our income when we buy cars or big houses we can’t afford. We lie about the polar bears to achieve our agenda. Scientists lie about global warming being connected to human endeavors. Photographers lie about finding “Lost Amazon Tribes”. Everybody lies, so what is the problem with Obama lying on a daily basis. Bill Clinton lowered the bar on character in the Oval Office. Why should we hold Obama to a higher standard.

Three months ago, in what the talk show host termed a “radical departure,” Winfrey announced that “A Million Little Pieces,” author James Frey’s nonfiction memoir of his vomit-caked years as an alcoholic, drug addict, and criminal, was her latest selection for the world’s most powerful book club.

TRACY LaGONDINO is pregnant, and that news has drawn a fair amount of attention. It’s been in People magazine, on “Oprah,” all over the Internet. Tracy’s baby, due in July, is doing well. But Tracy has a serious problem, and the rest of us do, too.

A 34-year-old who grew up in Hawaii and used to compete in beauty contests – she was once a finalist in the Miss Hawaii Teen USA pageant – Tracy, who now calls herself Thomas Beatie, apparently suffers from Gender Identity Disorder, syndrome 302.85 in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of the American Psychiatric Association. According to news accounts, she has felt uncomfortable with her female identity since adolescence. When she was in her 20s, the Telegraph of London reported, “she became more masculine,” began a lesbian relationship, “and researched what it meant to be a transgender male.” There followed breast-removal surgery and testosterone injections. Tracy/Thomas grew a beard, changed her legal identity to male, and married her partner, Nancy.

But it takes more than a mastectomy and hormone treatments to overturn biology. Thomas may be a man in the eyes of the law, but she remains physically a woman, with a woman’s reproductive system, a woman’s genitals, and a woman’s chromosomes. So when she and Nancy decided to have a baby, she had little trouble conceiving through artificial insemination.

Even in an age when cynical sleuths can hyper-analyze stories for truth and accuracy, the occasional hoax still slips through the cracks. Such was the case with a so-called “lost Amazon tribe.”

A few months ago, mainstream news outlets (including, ahem, Yahoo!) reported that a photographer had found a lost tribe of warriors near the Brazilian-Peruvian border. Photos of the tribe backed up his claim.

As it turns out, the story is only half true. The men in the photo are members of a tribe, but it certainly ain’t “lost.” In fact, as the photographer, José Carlos Meirelles, recently explained, authorities have known about this particular tribe since 1910. The photographer and the agency that released the pictures wanted to make it seem like they were members of a lost tribe in order to call attention to the dangers the logging industry may have on the group.

The photographer recently came clean, and news outlets, perhaps embarrassed at having been taken for a ride, have been slow to pick up the story. Now, the word is starting to spread and articles in the Buzz are picking up steam. Expect a lot more brutal truth in the coming days.

Via Ace, it looks like that baby-blue sucker’s under the bus. Here’s Ken Wheaton at Advertising Age:

While we don’t have full details, someone at Obama’s press center, when asked if the seal would be used going forward said simply, “No.” There were still a number of vaguely presidential-seal screensavers available at the Obama website, though.

Wheaton thinks they managed to pull it before any permanent damage was done to the Obama inevitable juggernaut, and I think he’s probably right. He’s learned to skip the step where he says “I could no more renounce that seal than I could renounce my (insert family member)” and cut straight to the renouncing.

Haven’t heard any reactions to the Kim Jong Il endorsement yet.

Lots and lots of conservatives over the years have had their deep and sharp disagreements with the Arizona maverick, but no one has ever argued that he was other than a man of complete integrity and honor, and not even the far-left fringe has previously attempted to argue McCain is a racist. Here’s what Obama said at a Florida fundraiser:

“The choice is clear. Most of all we can choose between hope and fear. It is going to be very difficult for Republicans to run on their stewardship of the economy or their outstanding foreign policy. We know what kind of campaign they’re going to run. They’re going to try to make you afraid. They’re going to try to make you afraid of me. He’s young and inexperienced and he’s got a funny name. However, several newspapers have verified that Obama admitted that he used composite characters in the books.
