Conservatives have known for a long time that the MSM is the left’s greatest cheerleader:
After many years of propaganda by the media that most Americans watch, listen to, and believe, it appears that many more are seeing the light. Although Barack Obama is not the first Leftist liberal Democrat to get high praise and softball “investigative reporting” from the MSM he is certainly one of the most fawned over political personalities ever.
The fact is that the one group all America can make fun of and investigate is White Christian Males… e.g.. President Bush. We cannot criticize: Someone who wears the hyphenated American label, a person of color, someone who has secular spiritual beliefs and Leftist ideas…e.g.. Barack Obama.
Like the gas prices I think this nonsense is going to go on for a long time. It will change when the pendulum swings so far left that a large majority of Americans are discomforted. We react most when it begins to hurt.
It is the inertia of the American people that keeps us in this rut.
If the work to change outweighs the pain of remaining the same, Change does not occur.
Tony Rezko, A Case In Point:
How often have we heard anything about the Tony Rezko case and Obama’s connection with the convicted man. Obama is above scrutiny and will be more so if he is elected to be the Commander-In-Chief. The powers of the DNC and the powers of the MSM will combine to cover up the scandal and build up the candidate.
From Hugh Hewitt:
Posted by: Hugh Hewitt at 7:43 AM Townhall.com columnist and Chicago talk show host Guy Benson reviews the relationship. Snapshot:
The federal convict and the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee have known each other for the better part of two decades, with the former raising approximately $250,000 for the latter’s various campaigns. After Rezko first offered Obama a job in the early 1990s, a friendship and political alliance was born; the two men shared dinners, joint outings with their wives, and a lucrative political network. Rezko served on Obama’s financing committee during his 2004 campaign, helping to raise approximately $160,000 for the aspiring U.S. Senator. Shortly thereafter, dark clouds began to gather over Chateau Rezko.
Read the whole thing. How close are Obama and Rezko? So close that if Obama was a Republican, there’d be talk of his being forced from the ticket, and ten thousand MSMers would have descended on Chicagoland with the mission of educating the public on the troubling questions raised by the Rezko convictions.
For the latest on Obama-Rezko, see Rezkorama.com.
Michelle Malkin has this post on the subject:
Poll: Voters agree that MSM’s propping up Obama
By Michelle Malkin • June 9, 2008 09:05 AM
After constant exposure to Obamessiah imagery, happy dances, hagiographic profiles, tingling, weeping, and ogling, voters conclude that yes, yes, mainstream journalists are in the tank for Obama.
Rasmussen via Allahpundit:
Voters have little doubt as to who is benefitting from the media coverage this year—Barack Obama. Fifty-four percent (54%) say Obama has gotten the best coverage so far. Twenty-two percent (22%) say McCain has received the most favorable coverage while 14% say that Hillary got the best treatment…
Looking ahead to the fall campaign, 44% believe most reporters will try to help Obama while only 13% believe that most will try to help McCain. Twenty-four percent (24%) are optimistic enough to believe that most reporters will try to offer unbiased coverage.
Even Democrats tend to believe their candidate will receive better treatment—27% of those in Obama’s party believe most reporters will try to help him win while only 16% believe they will help McCain. A plurality of Democrats—34%–believe most reporters will be unbiased.
Among unaffiliated voters, 44% believe reporters will try to help Obama and 14% believe they will try to help McCain.

Why don’t we see this Video on the MSM?
What is this “Intelligent” “Articulate” “Charismatic” Candidate trying to say?
There is no doubt Obama is MSNBCs favorite, and certainly CNN is a close second. I have taken to watching Fox when I can stand it just to get something that isn’t kissing Obama’s ***.

That’s a thought I have had as well.
I find it difficult to watch Main Stream Television at
all.
Obama is the Bomb for now.
When will it end?
I hope before November!

Why did the chicken cross the road?
BARACK OBAMA:
The chicken crossed the road because it was time for a
CHANGE! The chicken wanted CHANGE!
JOHN MC CAIN:
My friends, that chicken crossed the road because he
recognized the need to engage in cooperation and dialog with all the
chickens on the other side of the road.
HILLARY CLINTON:
When I was First Lady, I personally helped that little
chicken to cross the road. This experience makes me uniquely qualified
to ensure — right from Day One! — that every chicken in this country
gets the chance it deserves to cross the road. But then, this really
isn’t about me…….
DR. PHIL:
The problem we have here is that this chicken won’t
realize that he must first deal with the problem on ‘THIS’ side of the
road before it goes after the problem on the ‘OTHER SIDE’ of the road.
What we need to do is help him realize how stupid he’s a cting by not
taking on his ‘CURRENT’ problems before adding ‘NEW’ problems.
OPRAH:
Well, I understand that the chicken is having problems,
which is why he wants to cross this road so bad. So instead of having
the chicken learn from his mistakes and take falls, which is a part of
life, I’m going to give this chicken a car so that he can just drive
across the road and not live his life like the rest of the chickens.
GEORGE W. BUSH:
We don’t really care why the chicken crossed the road. We
just want to know if the chicken is on our side of the road, or not.
The chicken is either against us, or for us. There is no middle ground
here.
COLIN POWELL:
Now to the left of the screen, you can clearly see the
satellite image of the chicken crossing the road…
ANDERSON COOPER – CNN:
We have reason to believe there is a chicken, but we have
not yet been allowed to have access to the other side of the road.
JOHN KERRY:
Although I voted to let the chicken cross the road, I am
now against it! It was the wrong road to cross, and I was misled
about the chicken’s intentions. I am not for it now, and will remain
against it.
NANCY GRACE:
That chicken crossed the road because he’s GUILTY! You
can see it in his eyes and the way he walks.
PAT BUCHANAN:
To steal the job of a decent, hardworking American.
DR SEUSS:
Did the chicken cross the road? Did he cross it with a
toad? Yes, the chicken crossed the road, but why it crossed I’ve not
been told.
ERNEST HEMINGWAY:
To die in the rain. Alone.
JERRY FALWELL:
Because the chicken was gay! Can’t you people see the plain truth?’ That’s why they call it the ‘other side.’ Yes, my friends, that chicken is gay. And if you eat that chicken, you will
become gay too. I say we boycott all chickens until we sort out this abomination that the liberal media white washes with seemingly harmless phrases like ‘the other side. That chicken should not be crossing the road. It’s as plain and as simple as that.
GRANDPA:
In my day we didn’t ask why the chicken crossed the road.
Somebody told us the chicken crossed the road, and that was good enough.
BILL GATES:
I have just released eChicken2007, which will not only
cross roads, but will lay eggs, file your important documents, and
balance your checkbook. Internet Explorer is an integral part of
eChicken. This new platform is much more stable and will never
cra…#@&&^(C% ……..reboot.
ALBERT EINSTEIN:
Did the chicken really cross the road, or did the road
move beneath the chicken ?
BILL CLINTON:
I did not cross the road with THAT chicken. What is your
definition of chicken?
AL GORE:
I invented the chicken!
COLONEL SANDERS:
Did I miss one?
DICK CHENEY:
Where’s my gun?

It seems my second Video has been taken off of the air by those rascally Chickens at the DNC!
It was pretty revealing of the MSM bias. I’ll try and find it again and repost.
It was Obama on the plane with journalists fawning for his picture.

The chicken jokes were great! Obama might have already tossed his chicken under the bus, though, where so many others have gone.
Congrats on your award, Rigg. There is a Facebook group called something like “I am not a racist just because I am not voting for Barack Obama.”

huntingdonpost,
Thanks for your comments on Obama’s Chicken
I would be honored if you would jump over to my latest post, “Hillary Supporters and Christians Unite Against Obama”
I am looking for feedback on a concept that is beginning to grow around the blogisphere.
Read the post and let us know what you think about the idea.
Thanks again.

Riggword,
I dislike Senator Obama a fair bit myself.
But Michelle Malkin is hardly an impartial commentator, or a person who will sway many people.

Mathew,
As in most things beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Or, in this case ipariality is in the eye of the blogger.
Michelle Malkin in my oppinion sees things from a more reality based perspective than most commentators. Her written aligns with my thoughts and beliefs more often then not. She may sway some.
My beliefs come from my relationship with God, and his written word.
Michell Malkin defends the Christian faith consistantly.
As in this post:
Demon art? Pass. Christian art? Fail!
By Michelle Malkin • April 1, 2008 04:09 PM
The Alliance Defense Fund exposes the latest religious double standards case in our government schools. First, check out these three pieces of student art:
A)
1art.jpg
B)
1art0021.jpg
C)
1art003.jpg
They are all similar in quality, so why did B) and C) get passing marks while the student who drew A) failed?
Couldn’t have anything to do with the Biblical passage, could it? Why, yes. Yes, it did:
Alliance Defense Fund attorneys filed a federal lawsuit Friday against the Tomah Area School District over an unconstitutional policy that bars religious free speech. Citing a policy prohibiting depictions of “blood, violence, sexual connotations, [or] religious beliefs,” officials penalized a Christian student for his artwork depicting a Bible verse and a cross but did not penalize students who included demonic illustrations in their artwork.
“Christian students shouldn’t be penalized for expressing their beliefs. It is unconstitutional for the school to punish students simply because they choose to exercise their First Amendment rights,” said ADF Senior Legal Counsel David Cortman. “Further, teachers are not permitted to censor Christian religious expression in artwork while at the same time allowing other types of religious depictions.”
A student at Tomah High School drew a landscape picture for an art class containing a road, clouds, and mountains with a cross in the background and the words “JOHN 3:16 – A sign of love” written in the sky. The teacher of the class told the student to either remove the scriptural reference or cover it up with a border.
The teacher cited a document that the student and all other students in the class had been required to sign at the beginning of the semester which prevented them from creating artwork with the prohibited depictions. After the teacher said that the student had “signed away his First Amendment rights,” the student respectfully protested by tearing the signed document in half.
“The student was correct. A public school cannot require students to sign away their constitutional right to free speech and religious expression,” Cortman explained. “Furthermore, other students created artwork in violation of this illegitimate policy, but no action was taken against them. Only our client was singled out.”
The teacher gave the student a grade of zero for the assignment. The student also received two detentions.
Here’s the complaint. Will keep an eye on this one.

Signs of the Obamessiah
Obama created new states from out of the void.
Obama came to us carried upon a donkey.
Obama triumphed over the beast, the enemy of all men.
Obama will raise voters from the dead.

I like your point about raising voters from the dead.
