Michelle Obama, Reverend Wright…What’s the Difference?

Michelle’s Voice is Softer But Her Words are as Hard as Reverend Wright”s

The “Every Thing Is Getting Worse In America” Rant

Michelle Obama said at UCLA:

I could go on and on and on, but this is how we’re living, people, in 2008. And things have gotten progressively worse. Throughout my lifetime, through Democratic and Republican administrations, it hasn’t gotten better for regular folks.(Hamilton)

Rweverend Wright Says:

“We’re confusing God and government. We believe it is all right to decimate the Afro-Colombian community by arming the paramilitary with United States tax dollars, our dollars, a hired military whose real job is to protect the oil line owned by United States companies tied to the presidency, which was stolen by the oil interest. We confusing God and government. And it gets worse, it gets worse” (Hewitt)

The “Bush’s War Is Evil” Rant

Michelle Concures with:

“Our greatest challenge is that we have a mutual obligation to one another and we have to understand that. We have lost sight of that because we haven’t had leadership that has asked us to sacrifice and compromise for one another.”

Obama said the war in Iraq was an example of that. The only people who have been asked to sacrifice and compromise are the soldiers sent there” (Houston Chronicle).

The “Nothing In America is Fair” Rant

Or

The “They Keep Lifting the Bar” Rant

Reverend Wright Cofirms:

“This government lied about their belief that all men were created equal. The truth is, they believed all white men were created equal. The truth is, they did not believe that even white women were created equal, in creation nor in civilization. The government had to pass an amendment to the Constitution to get white women the vote. Then, the government had to pass an equal rights amendment to get equal protection under the law for women. The government still thinks a woman has no rights over her own body,…The government lied in its founding documents, and the government is still lying today. Governments lie” (Hewitt).

Michelle Wraps It up with this Statement:

“People are spending their lives trying to reach a bar that is ever moving,” she said. “One thing I have learned in traveling all over this country is that folks are like my parents. They aren’t asking for much. They’re just asking for that bar to be still.

“When the bar is ever shifting, it is easy to be led by fear,” she went on. “I say we have a war that we are in now because of fear. Our leadership manipulated that fear. … Fear cuts you off from each other, from our family and country. It cuts us off from other cultures and nations. And we pass that on to the next generation. (Houston Chronicle)

They believe in American Deceptionism Not American Exceptionalism

Their Style is different but They Both Hate America For What It is!

Their beliefs are the same, their retoric is the same, They are of One Accord when it comes to tearing down the United States of America and our dream. We do believe that all are created by God equally and individually. Each person in this country has the freedom, so far, to excel and accomplish great things and gain great wealth. Without the dream of achieving high goals and personal gain America does not work. These two people are not preaching “Hope” they are preaching “There is no Hope”, so give up now , let go of your dreams and expect the government to take care of you.

I ask Michelle and Reverend Wright

how can you trust the government to take care of you

when the government cannot be trusted.

The “I think we gotta  move forward” Rant

The Michelle Obama-patented subject-changer

By Michelle Malkin • May 1, 2008 02:59 PM

In a pickle with your spouse over laundry you neglected to do or trash you forgot to take out?

Looking for an easy way to wriggle out of a tough spot with your boss?

Never fear. Michelle Obama is here with her new patented subject-changer:

“You know, this conversation doesn’t help my kids.”

Worked like a charm yesterday during her softball interview with NBC’s Meredith Viera:

MEREDITH VIEIRA: Michelle, do you feel that the Reverend Wright betrayed your husband?

MICHELLE OBAMA: I think Barack has spoken so clearly and eloquently about this.

MEREDITH VIEIRA: But do you personally feel that the Reverend Wright…

MICHELLE OBAMA: You know what I think Meredith? I think we gotta move forward. You know, this conversation doesn’t help my kids. You know, it doesn’t help kids out there who are looking for us to make decisions and choices about how we’re going to better fund education.

She just doesn’t want to denounce him. A clip of a CNN interview shows her visibly unhappy at having to say “Barack speaks for both of us…” about Rev. Wright. I think this was HER church even more than his, and he has to make this politically expedient choice she doesn’t really agree with. She does believe the Rev. Wright, and that’s her choice. I almost feel bad for her having to be forced to give up her church because her husband wants to be president, but then, she could also choose to stand up and disagree with Barack. Both are adults.

Thanks for your comment.

You are so right about Michelle and Wright.

This makes for interesting thought, banter, and blogging.

But It could all be disaster for America.

God Bless.

I have long suspected michelle has been the true driving force behind her husband.Coming from a strong chicago political (old style democtatic machine in chicago) she is not new to how the political game works. I can surely understand how black americans feel resentment towards white americans due to the inequality for so many years, but I also see an overly hateful resentment from Michelle on a personal level towards all whites. Michelle may have felt very comfortable at Trinity church of Chicago.

Thanks for your comment Darrell,

I like well thought out comments that are not ranting or name calling; you have a good way of presenting your point.

In this election it is difficult to not be called a racist, bigot, unfair, accusatory. or……

I have been called all of those in the last few months.

It’s a shame that we are called out for telling it like it is. Your words are your opinion and true enough. Facts plus opinion is called out and suppressed in this election cycle.

It has been my experience during my brief stint as a blogger that the Obama sensitivity smear monger police like to label people who make honest comments such as yours.

We will see if they show up here.

Keep checking back and commenting,

God Bless
